I’m an experienced digital pinball player and have become quite proficient at beating wizard modes. I used to play Pinball FX, but these days I mostly play the excellent Visual Pinball X. My strategic and systematic approach has served me well. My reward comes from reaching and beating wizard modes with well thought-out strategies. I’m currently only uploading gameplay videos, but I’m still developing gameplay strategies (available on discord.gg/kQXtc8u and sometimes in video descriptions) and hope to produce strategy videos soon again. My videos are mostly for the excellent V-Pin Workshop team and their collaborators tables that I’m privileged to do gameplay testing for.
I hope to earn some channel income which will go towards buying better equipment and internet service so that I can live-stream and produce more focussed videos. Please consider joining www.patreon.com/PinStratsDan and I’ll appreciate once-off tips.
@@PinStratsDan yea I just saw the vid where you ended it and said it was beat but Payne's tombstone was still blinking. There were 6 in total. But good skills
I had no idea this was even possible!! Thanks for showing this off! I am brand new to VPX. Any recommendations on how to set this table up on a clean install?
This is an old table relative to the last 2 years accelerated VPX development. Look at something new from VPX like Jurassic Park or Metallica (recently released) to see the advances made, including the physics implementation.
Might you be able to do a PinStrat for FX3 Family Guy? I’m pretty new to the pinball hobby, and I’ve been enjoying that one, and trying to find strategies for it. I actually play it using Viture Pro Glasses, connected to a Steam Deck. The screen is pretty huge looking with those glasses, sort of like playing on a 130 inch TV. Pinball seems to be turning for me, and I think I may just buy a AtGames 4K machine in the near future. 😮
A Pat Lawler classic, this game ranked 8th in the top 10 most played pinball games when it came out. Got any other Pat L tables on your channel? Thanks for another great play, keep those flippers hot and that silver sphere smokin’!
I didn't realise this pin had such a similar layout to Adam's family and Twilight Zone, that's cool to know. It looks great, the guys at VPW did a fantastic job once again. BTW I really appreciate that on most of your videos, there is no ugly and distracting background image (not the backglass in the right hand corner, that does actually looks nice when it's there, but I mean those ones that cover the entire background and just look so terrible ) it really makes a very positive difference imo and the upload quality is really good quality too 👌I appreciate this very much as often I see poor quality videos that do not do the table justice, but yours always look stellar. Thankyou👍
Thx for sharing - really happy to watch your vids again ! May I ask if possible to share your pov settings in the vid description please ? Thank you in advance ❤
I'm not sure actually what the difficulty setting changes. It is more complex I belive than just lower is easier and higher harder. I just leave it as is.
I just love this Pal Lawlor classic, along with twilight zone and road show these tables have some great features that operators at the time knew their players would come back to again and again in the golden days of arcades. Thanks for uploading another great table playthrough, cya next table and keep that pinball smokin' hot! (What table are you gonna play next?)
I did read the rules, and I still don't understand how to get the Gazzillion Ear multi-ball. Would love to see a tutorial-for-idiots one of these days. This table is so polished and feels different from the usual stuff, it deserves play.
Cool to see tables like this with all the bells and whistles and realism. Clearly the work of a fan that would most likely never be made by a major manufacturer. Kudos to the VPW folks for bringing it up to new levels. Nice game PSD!
Short answer is that they are replicating the look of a 90s arcade and with the original incandescent bulbs. All at VPW test and play it like this and great care is put into ensuring that the ball is easy to follow. I have a bright gaming monitor and don't have a problem with this table's brightness. You are welcome to leave a comment on the release page as the team do pay attention.
