Just finished mirage ...s tier world the story the music the world! The characters everything. It dragged for too long but thats okay its a very important world .
This might be a hot take, but I kind of wish Arc 3 focused on Spider and his children as the main antagonists rather than the shoehorn that is the Cabal. Cause it really felt like they were trying to set them all up as the Rat was the only one of his children to be a final boss (okay maybe the Storm Titan, but that's his and Raven's son). Really, I like the 3rd Arc, just had a lot of missed potential, and a pretty underwhelming finale with Empyrea.
Hey guys it's 2023 right now. I know, time really does fly haha. I wish that this was never removed from the krampus fight. Also guess what guys? It's almost 2024! I feel so old 😅 I've been playing this game almost since release, back in 2010. I just want thank everyone who was there to play with me ❤ God bless
One of the reasons this song sounds so unique, is the time signature, 7/4, which means every measure is subdivided into 7 beats. Typically, the vast majority of western music is 4/4, or 3/4. Even in the OSTs of videogames (where music tends to be pretty varied and beautifully unique), a time signature of 7/4 is pretty rare. Yet somehow, Wizard101 has across its entire OST a very, very varied plethora of unique songs, in terms not only of weird and interesting time signatures, but also in terms of how the tracks are composed and arranged, and of how the chord progressions and harmonies are intertwined with each others, etc.; in general, the use of all sorts of tricks which make Wizard101's OST something to be truly amazed at; one of the most exciting game soundtracks of all time, imo. Wizard101 is honestly part of the reason I grew up to be a musician. One day I'd love to make an in-depth analysis video on this.
im pretty sure that for this version they got real musicians to play the song instead of prerecorded notes because you can really hear how the notes connect when they play and their tone and vibrato plus the production quality just sounds much nicer and sweeter and the old one feels very bright and blunt. I like that they took the time to improve it which makes me miss the old ravenwood theme more. imo they should have done a mix of the old and new one like cycling between them instead of just replacing it
My god. I still cant believe its been 7 years sincr darkmoor came out. I remeber it coming out in test realm and it was the most hyped content to be released. And one of the most challenging dungeons ever for a bit there.
