I think doing both charmy and shifter in the same chain is fine because the opponent can d barrier and the tenpai player has a target for hiita if needed
17:00 i think the sequence was the fk player wanted to negate chundra but it looks confusing because the tenpai player declared garura and then fk player chained arvata preemptively before tenpai player declared chundra and then forgot to draw
SpyderByte2099 more accurate to say when it is actually close release. ROTA is not out yet but we are commenting under a video show decks playing cards from it.
Attention all non Mermail, non Water players. The mermail player wasn't good. Snake eyes can't beat Mermails going forward. Guy didn't know what he was doing. We don't run AbyssOcea. I don't know who told him to main deck that. Lol.
@@pokefreak12345 Coelacanth does a better job swarming and going into link, Xyz, and Synchro plays. I know because I've tested with Ocea and it's cloncky. You never want to search Teus off the Abyssrhine unless you drew or banished the Coelacanth. He lost, it's proof it's not Good. There is also no point in running half the armor engine. He should have fully leaned into it and added more armor cards and Lancer Knight. He is playing too many hand traps so naturally most of his plays didn't go through.
@@martonyomchale342 the coel line legit forces you to play a lot more bricks in the deck and less non engine so you just lose even harder going second. I don’t get the hype around it and most ppl I see playing the deck have long cut it.
@@pokefreak12345 Most Mermail players are new to it and don't know how to pilot it. Coelacanth required Harpooner which you need for level 8 synchros and rank 4 plays. And it requires Armoured Shark who can be added back to hand via Lancer Knight (which he wasn't playing). One armoured shark and one butterfly fish is fine. Just bump up the deck size. Mermails can easily run more than 40 cards. It has plenty of search and draw power.
@@pokefreak12345 And Abyssocea eats your normal summon unless you summon her after summoning Podeidra, or summon Teus pitch Ocea, add Gunde, then summon Pike pitch Gunde. It's subpar to me. The only builds I've seen are decent that don't run Coelacanth don't have Ocea and they use Icejade and Ice barrier monsters. Those builds are just as clonky and I think Mermails should have an exceed heavy extra deck. That's originally what it was and it's clear with the new support, and the new armour cards that's the direction they want everyone to go.
tbf it was my first time seeing the cards so trying to know what play comes next is hard and the names arent easy , but im just a S tier player commentating is the side gig type shiiii
mermail player is buns. He had a way to summon megalo to add the other equip spell to have a spell negate (if they play it) and their sequencing was all wrong.
DB for god’s sake just say “murcielago” like the Lamborghini. Konami localization was the dumbest thing since it’s an actual Spanish word for bat “Moor-see-eh-lah-goh” It’s hard to type out the pronunciation of the first syllable
