All these people talking about Alice in Chains. That band died with Lane Staley. You guys do realise that No More Tears is Mike's handiwork as well, correct? And Alice In Chains had another bassist,Mike Starr(RIP) But yall are casual fans of music so Inez is AIC's bass player forever in your minds.
I uploaded this on my old channel before youtube did away with personal accounts in favor of google account merger. I am equally surprised it was not flagged for copyright reasons.
Hey if you have that part could u please upload Mike Inez A Little Bitter Drum Jam with John Tempesta? I have seen it before somewhere in youtube but now i cant find it anywhere.
Sadly I will be removing this video under my old account due to Copyright infringement Policies recently passed in the USA. Please support the official release and purchase the DVD.

@@zerozipper4299 I measured my corvette proline pickups and the are at 3.7". I beleive the J-set comes with one at 3.59". Did you see a difference in pickup length from the stock MEC's? Did the holes line up well?
@@zerozipper4299 Thanks for the input. I just measured my EMG golds with calipers and they are within .005" of the EMG 'LJ' pickup. Maybe ours have different pickups. Mine are the active golds from 2001.
I'm the one who uploaded this. I lost the DVD and wont sadly if I do due to Copyright Infringement laws. If I could log back into my old account just for safety I'd delete this and the full lesson. Please support the industry and purchase the DVD.
Hey man, just out of curiosity, I was wondering how good these basses are. I took a chance on a 5 string Alvarez and I was wondering if they're any good. From what I'm seeing here, it sounds pretty good. Just curious about the play ability of this particular brand of basses.
+D4rknecross I recorded this and It didn't sit too well in the mix with the drum track. My tone was WAY too muddy. Its out of sync with the drums in the bridges. Sounds like I'm playing more notes than I really am for some reason. I also didn't know crap about DI recording at the time. Its been a few years since I recorded this bass cover.
To me, from watching how Mike plays that part and how it's written, it appears the 0-0 is simply two Eb notes played in double-time and palm muted. I could be wrong, but to me the tab seems to be accurate (just not how it shows the two notes as a hammer-on).
Very late reply...anyway...Why? Inez's place is in AIC (thanks "God"). Metallica is fine with Trujillo (fits in the band more). Both are amazing bass players, that's for sure.
Trust me even if Mike Inez would of ever joined Metallica James and Lars would have found a way to drown out Mikes bass because apparently Metallica doesn't like bass they're a guitar first band which is stupid
This is my old channel. It was a Rockbass model. Bolt on. I was recording this with a crappy Acoustic combo amp if I remember correctly. its been so many years ago however I remember it having a EMG BQC system running at 18V.
@@ferlindberg4748Mike Inez had more musical contribution, Rotten Apple, A Little Bitter, I Stay Away wouldn't exist or would be a lot less interesting without him, while Starr wrote very little. The bass he plays might not be as good as Starr's I guess.

Are you playing along to Guitar Hero? If so, how? Does the bass trigger a game controller? I like this song. Nice job on the bass! I am going to look for this song and will try out the drum track.
Nope learned it by ear. This is my old account. I was using a crappy amp and a crappy bass then. I was only 15 tho. I may record a better version but only if it clears Copyright laws.
