Same injury that Sturridge had surgery to repair in Boston. The re-attachment is one thing, painful and recurring, but the repair requires a period of convalescence. Think of it as attaching a rubber band, do you fix it tight or loose or somewhere in the middle? Usually fixed tight and you have to exercise to get a level your previous flexibility back.

Watched the Ireland v England game and yes Trent was very good. But as I am an Irish Red have to say I'm very disappointed you never said anything about Kelleher . Yes we lost 0-2 but it could have been a lot more only for Kelleher he was very good. YNWA

I disagree with as regards the MacCallister update. If he has a hip abductor injury then that is going to require a significant rest period otherwise it is likely to recur and it may even need surgery. I think that the injury is more significant and is being downplayed. Hip abductor injuries are not good injuries for professional sports people.

I find international friendlies etc to be a huge waste of time and also a sheer lack of respect to all the clubs that pay the players wages . Apart from that can't these players have a rest instead of risking injury for a match that means absolutely nothing
International football is a disgrace with the worse games possible, these conferences league or whatever they are is just a money objective.
