Hey, the most warnings it gets on the latest check is 8/72 where it seems that most are from AI generated algorithms. My guess is they update the algorithms to identify. Usually a signed application shouldn't trigger false positives, but it may be that since it uses the GO programming language, the AVs have a hard time correctly identifying - see go.dev/doc/faq#virus . I am currently building a new haruhost from scratch, so I won't really lean into adjusting the code base for this old build to please AVs as it may take significant amount of time. Make sure you're downloading the signed exe from the website.
It's a false detection most likely. Based on virustotal it shouldn't trigger in Windows, but for some it does, for me it doesn't. I'm waiting for MS to review manually the recently updated exe. In the meantime older version are available on Discord.
@@RizzyMonkeyVr Don't disable antivirus. A better way would be to add an exception to the exe or folder temporary. If it doesn't open join the Discord where I could try to help you.
eset detected it . i then verified the exe and seems you´r right looks like its a false positive win defender blocks it but running in a virtual environment works fine .thx for the reply
It's a false positive that popped up recently really hard, and for some people there are 0 warnings for others it freaks out. Not sure what's going on on the Windows side, I'm still waiting for MS to manually review. Automatic AV tools are bad at correctly detecting... go.dev/doc/faq

Thanks for the guide. Everything else worked smoothly, but I encountered an issue with port forwarding. Fortunately, trying Radmin VPN solved the problem effectively.
I'm having an issue where it doesn't want to shut down the server when I try to automate it, it keeps skipping those tasks. So restarts and automatic updates aren't working.
@@HaruHost I'll have the task for a full update set and it will say it was skipped, "Server needs status to be online, but is running" Says that for a shutdown, a restart, and for a full update, doesn't matter which I have scheduled.
@@joshmonster94 online means that HaruHost can connect to RCON if it's available. It then uses RCON to safely shutdown the server. If your config doesn't load correctly it will show that the process is running.
I set up a discord hook link but no messages appeared in the channel, I tested the discord hook link in another test application and it worked. Any ideas what could be wrong?
@@TellesWarGamer it definetly works double check you're using the correct url and logs - maybe the url isn't fully correct and you get an error from discord
@@jacksmacks4132 Are you sure? If you want scheduled events to be executed at precise times you need to use the `daily` or `weekly` setting and set the specific time. If you set the `by time ` it will do calculation in intervals, which won't sync with other intervals as each event has different execution time. By time interval is more for things like backups, or starting the server in case it crashed and is offline.
I tried this but does not seem to work when my friend want to connect to my server. Can anyone show which part I might do wrong? - After installation, Port forwarding using port 8211, my Internal IP, all protocol enable. - Run the batch file. - Download both prerequisites.
Sometimes it can be the ISP that blocks UDP port forwarding. It could be you giving him the wrong IP or your Port Forwarding is incorrectly setup. You might get additional help in the Discord.
When i run this app it runs PalWorld server CPU 1 core at 100%? Fans go full speed all the time, even when no players connected. From what i have read online, PalServer can use up to 4 cores, but dont know why its locked to one when running this app (4core cpu btw, 8 thread). Anyone got any ideas?
how do we get the rcon installed on haurhost tho mine says rcon not installed. edit: its in the PALWORLD SERVER SETTINGS you must enable it in there, look for the edit button on the haurhost console where it lets you edit the server settings like spawn rates and stuff, enable rcon is in there.
Hi HaruHost, I am running into this error whenever I try to schedule automated backup and RCON broadcasts. Everytime I try to add an automation doesn't show up. Any ideas what I can do? I'm not sure what file it's querying. Error: sql: Scan error on column index 8, name "schedule_time": unsupported Scan, storing driver.Value type string into type *time.Time
Everytime I try to import a server, starting the server with the server manager completely loses all character data, and sends everyone to character creation. For some reason character data is not being imported.
RU-vid isn't the right place to debug such issues. Discord is. Someone had a similar problem, and the fix was using almost exactly the same launch config in HaruHost as it was used with steam before.
Is it possible to send out custom messages through the discord hook? Like when a server restart is coming up. Or if I want to broadcast a message, or mirror in game chat to discord?
Hi, i play on a 8 ppl dedicated server with 1 friend, 40ms and 60 server fps. We found out some issues in game with friends. Items from inventory/box move into new box but don’t disappear from previous inventory/box. I can see some pal stuttering. 2 things i didn t have in other servers? Any idea what the problem could be, from the server part ?
Hey, HaruHost is just a fancy server/shutdown runner in a way. Everything in how a game server works inside is handled by the developers of that game server themselves. The issues you're experiencing can be due to a variety of reasons. Everything is early access so I'm pretty sure they will fix stuff and issues. But to have a better understanding on what is going on, I suggest you to join the Palworld official Discord.

My server save got corrupted yesterday so I'm hoping this will help out :D Otherwise I was just gunna dropbox versioning X) edit: Setup was easy and seems like the scheduled backups work!
I really love the discord webhook, but two sort of minor problems and I wondered if they can be resolved. My self host lost internet. Discord webhook couldn't say server was down. When internet came back, it didn't say server was back online (because likely may have had no internet but the server was still running in the background). Is there a way to bypass this limitation? Not that I'm complaining! I absolutely love this tool and thank you so much ^__^
@@mslegallyotaku Hey, currently there is no check whether you have internet connection or not. Technically when you loose internet the server is still online, and reacable from the same PC or home network. So actually what you want is having a process that checks consistently whether internet access is available. Now I haven't looked into what would be the right approach for this, as some antivirus analyser like to complain. But you can use the discord to suggest this feature
