@@eyeflynoosa No surgery, I was out in one hour and it's been almost two weeks since the procedure with little discomfort and virtually gone. Time will tell if one procedure was enough.

I am so happy about this! Of course being unemployed is a drag, especially because we never quite know how long the period between gainful employment will last (if we could just know, we'd enjoy the window of time to do other things). But my main point is, what a great thing to be back in the realm of the relatively ho-hum problems of everyday life! I've never once heard of a dead person being described as unemployed, so it's great news actually. Regarding the job search, seems like perhaps a pivot is being thrust upon you--remember that you have great creativity, humor, writing skills, video editing skills, etc. etc. Perhaps a business where you help other people create their own cancer diaries, or write about their lives from a vantage point of treatment? Don't underestimate how little people know about all the technology involved--it seems like not much to you, but it's overwhelming to many, especially if they are dealing with health issues. That may keep you too much in the realm of sickness than you hope to be, but that idea could be tweaked in many ways. In the meantime, let's hope Fidelma sells many houses! Sending good wishes from Brooklyn. -Leecia
Great update Kerry and so great to see you so well. I’ll have another think to see if I can help get you a job. I’ll come back to you. All the best mate. Greg
This is really great news and I'm super chuffed for your better health. I have thought of you often over the last few silent months. As for the job, I will keep an eye out for you. Tips on résumés... Don't put your DOB on. Fill gaps with friends who will say you've been contracting for them for that time and extend your last role by several months... Noone cares, really. A resume is just a foot in the door. I absolutely loved your kid's videos that you did and I shared them to my network because I have friends who have kids. Frankly, I think these are far better to spruik to a production company. On the side, your reading voice is great, so perhaps voice over/acting work? Are there possible roles outside of IT or other associated verticals? If you could be a consultant with all your expertise, could you do your own thing? I'm shooting in the dark I know, and I hope I'm not stating the bleeding obvious, though probably am. I work for a business who hires people on experience rather than age so don't lose hope. And if all else fails, dye your folicles. It wont help you get a job but youll look hot. 😁 Wishing you all the best, Kerry. Cheers to good health! 🍾
Thank you, oh queen, for your wise words of encouragement - they certainly boost my ego. DOB is definitely missing from the CV, so, incredibly, there must be something else wrong with me. Do you think the hair dye would help with the ridiculous monk-like bald spot that isn't visible from the front?
@@kennethcoffey5776 I'm in line for surgery, after a hernia operation a hydrocele formed, to make things worse the hernia wound became infected, with seroma and abscess, I been opened up a total of 3 times now trying to get the staph infection under control and after 5 months its still not healed and im carrying around a vacuum pump device which is supposed to gentle draw out and further infected "stuff". The surgeon/urologist says he won't treat the hydrocele until the infection is cleared. its been a damned nightmare for a "routine" hernia operation. the thought of more surgery especially on the sack is,.. well, you can imagine
Wish I would have seen this 2 weeks ago, 12 days out from epididymal cyst removed and hydrogele surgery . I have had a few op,s in the last few years and this one taks the cake. Painful , uncomfortable , they don't give you enough drugs and I didn't buy enough peas. Just horrible . thanks
@scottking5031. "HYDROCEOLE SELF DRAINING" I have self drained my hydrocele for 15 years. In total approximately 300 times " approx 100ml every 2 to 4 weeks". DOCTORS WANT OPERATE AND MAKE $15,000 IN 30 MINUTES (You lie in bed for weeks in pain and in "many cases the HYDROCEOLE returns." Your doctor wants to operate again.) "Sclerotherapy" Only a few doctors in the US will do this procedure. AGAIN THEY WANT SURGERY MONEY! Chemicals are injected into the HYDROCEOLE that are intended to CAUTERIZE ie. burn the HYDROCEOLE walls to prevent excretion of the fluid. This in most cases is extremely painful, may take several treatments and may not work. IMPORTANT!!!! Your testicle needs some fluid for lubrication and protection. WHAT IF YOUR SAC BECOMES DRY!! I am not a doctor, I am simple sharing my experience and how I have easily managed it for 15 years. First get an ultrasound to confirm you have a HYDROCEOLE. If you do your doctor will want to operate. Convince him to drain it due to your discomfort. Pretend you are willing to have the surgery after draining on another day. Watch how he does it. Learn how to do it yourself. NEVER HAVE THE OPERATION!!! Many time it doesn't work. I drained today!! 5 minutes total time from prep to pants up and on your way. TAKE A SHOWER, CLEAN UNDER WARE! STERILIZE HANDS AND SCROTUM, Balloon fluid and separate testicle from fluid with fingers, 19 gauge x 1" needed from Farm supply store or vet supply, internet. Ice for 1 minute. Puncture outer skin and inner sac, clear to urine color fluid will run out of needle. Stand above toilet or sink and drain. STERILIZE puncture site. 1st time is the most unnerving. Have a few drinks first. After a few times it's no issue. It will probably fill again. How quick? Everyone is different. Drain as soon as it starts to be uncomfortable. The few non fun minutes to drain is well worth NO SURGERY and daily comfort. Think about a brake line bleeder vacuum. Its what I use. Much faster with a smaller 20 gauge x 1" needle on the hose. YOU CAN DO IT !!!! IT JUST TAKE A LITTLE BALLS :)
I've had a hydrocele for 4 years now and currently have no plans to have this highly invasive surgery. I got it as a result of an inguinal hernia repair. My general surgeon told me that they are difficult surgeries to bounce back from so I'm saying no, even though mine does cause me discomfort. Do your homework guys before having this procedure. They say it's routine, but we're talking about slicing your nut sack open!

I'm 72. I think I will continue to live with my bloated scrotum. I don't trust Drs. for shit. I may try to drain the rotton son of a bitch myself. Getting old is for the fuckin birds!
@@slowjamcdub it took me 3 months to completely heal, also you will need to wear some kind of incontinent pads because they leave tubes in to drain, and it’s a stinking mess, not only is it clear fluid but blood as well, also a lot of people who have had I’d got an infection from it,also you run a high fever.and nausea, good luck If you have it done,I will pray for you.
@@frankmoran210that's interesting, and a different experience to me. I had no tubes, gross fluids, or incontinence pads. Definitely uncomfortable for a few weeks though. Sorry to hear you had it so rough!
Had a Lords Plication procedure on July. Scar healed beautifully, just like a zipper. It's now September 13 and my right testicle is still hard and oversize. The surgeon has requested a followup around end of Sep/early Oct. Hope it at least resembles a testicle by then. Good luck to all.
Hi Michael, hope you are well. I am still in some pain and, after another ultrasound have discovered that I have a hydrocele on my other testicle! The one operated on in July is still hard and oversized and I'm awaiting the consultant's opinion on what to do. Don't worry, I reckon I am one of the low percenters that have issues. Just look after yourself, wear your tight pants and you'll be good to go.@@Michael-wz5iv
@@NS-rt6xr hey, yeah I have made significant improvements since my previous comment over a month ago, I am currently 15 weeks post op and swelling is down about 60-70 percent and could continue to reduce over the next number of weeks. The surgery doesn’t return you fully back to normal in most cases but definitely makes life a lot more comfortable
Hola ,soy de chile ! A Mi padre lo seleccionaron para participar de un ensayo clinico con este farmaco ,por un cancer gastrico con HER2 positivo, esto que tu cuentas sera lo mismo ? lo recomiendas?
Not the same as me, but I do recommend drug trials. It was good for me, but even if it's not good for you at least you can say you have helped make things better for somebody else in the future. Cancer research needs patients in drug trials.
Hola que tal como respondió tu padre al tratamiento? Mi madre fue diagnosticada con hepatocarcinoma y le recetaron sorafenib pero escuche que este fármaco era mejor
Thank you so much for Sharing this!💓 Excuse me,may I ask a question? since you are a western, do you know this medicine has getting approved in the western? because my friend's father,Chinese, suffered from lung cancer,He is receiving Tislelizumab immunotherapy in China.and he wants to visit his daughter in America. I'm not sure, Can he continue to use this drug in America? Thank you so much again!🙏
I am not an expert, but I cannot find any evidence that Tisleleizumab has been approved for use anywhere outside of China. It's only available as part of a clinical trial. Also, the American health care system is stupidly expensive, so even if it was available I expect it would be cost a fortune to purchase and have administered. Hopefully his treatment is successful and he can visit afterwards. Good luck!
I'm living for this music. Most entertaining content I've seen on gallbladder surgery. 😅 Glad you're doing better! (Feel like you could make some jewelry with those things)
It's 4am and I have been low on smiles today. Therefore, as a reward for your friendly comment I hereby commit to a new LOW QUALITY video sometime later today. It's going to be very exciting, but mostly dull, which is why I haven't already uploaded it. I can hardly wait. Something to do with an inability to balance trays of glasses. Also bad heels. That can be another video. Anyway, thank you Divine. I liked you even before the incident with the dog poop.
Ahhh, sciatica. My old friend. You absolutely can get physio to help with it or fix it completely. Good to see you chipper but slow down on the drug overdoses. 😂
Hello friend, thanks for sharing your experiences. It is not clear to me if the reduction of the lung nodules was due to the radiation or the treatment with the drug. thanks, best regard.
I had a hydrocelectamy 3 days ago. Just took off my wrap and was shocked by the scar. I thought it was going to be a small vertical incision. But it's a massive scar that goes horizontally nearly the entire circumference of my scrotum. Part is still weeping a bit.. did yours weep a bit for a week. I don't know if I'm freaking out or I should go to the hospital lol. It's Dec 23rd.. And a Friday.. so I'm guessing the surgeon will be gone for the Christmas weekend. I can't believe how the stitching and scar looks.. It's massive. Hope you don't mind my asking.. but was yours a small vertical incision? That's what I was expecting. I'm wondering if something went wrong with mine and I wasn't told. I have a strong constitution and blood or wounds don't phase me normally.. but I almost fainted when I looked at my scrote just now..
Mine looked horrific too, but now it's totally fine. Sorry for the slow reply - I hadn't noticed these questions. I hope you're feeling well now. I'm definitely much happier now.
@@KerrySainsbury was your cut vertical or horizontal? I had one done a year ago it was a huge horizontal cut. It healed where it is not noticeable but my balls don't hang like before its a feeling of tightness down there hard to describe its not pain it just feel different from b4 the procedure

Good quote! My right nut, when everything is relaxed resembles a boxing speed bag, swinging around and getting in the way. I sat on the fucking thing recently.
You are awfully generous with your praise. Everybody has their problems. I just thought it might be interesting or entertaining to talk about mine in public. I'm glad I can hold your attention.
