According to the legend the Giant Roldán broke the top of Puig Campana mountain (the big mountain in the background with the hole in the middle), because he caught his wife with another giant with his sword and the piece of the mountain that fell into the sea is Benidorm island. Though there are many other iterations of the legend. I personally heard this legend multiple times when I went to school there!

Recently returned from Fuengirola. Far too hot, with giant HORNETS everywhere. Beware. Also note that the government passed a law in 2022 where hotels cannot have their air con below 27c in public areas, which is why all the hotels now are boiling hot apart from in the private rooms, so you are confined to your room if you want to be cool. Horrible. Will not return.
Bottanical garden is acrltually best to visit in spring when a lot if trees and shrubs are blooming. The glasshouse is a fine object characteristic for the period it was built.
Very nice botanical garden… thanks for sharing; enjoyed it a lot. My wife and I are not big on outdoors, but love to go see botanical gardens. There’s an absolutely fantastic and quite spectacular one in Stuttgart too if you ever pass through that beautiful city in Germany.
Great video and thank you! My plan was to visit next month Sept. Malaga and Marbella, but I run into your video about Fuengirola, so definitely, I will check out this city in my way. I live in California for 35 days and It is about time to make a move. So tired of the politics and expensive cost of live. Spain is my first choice. Muchas gracias por su video amigo.
