Hi Mario….Want to leave a positive review ref the “Make Your Own Catalytic Converter Alarm”. Sorry about posting here and after you read you should remove for this review doesn’t belong with this video but I can’t find any other way to converse with you; comments are turned off in 99% of your vids likely because of time constraints in replying and of course there are haters. First of all would like to compliment that you are a excellent presenter. All your videos are very informative, well organized and found them very helpful. Given That catalytic converter theft’s are expeditiously increasing recently secondary to the high metals prices I’ve felt rather vulnerable to theft. (I own a Prius…..their favorite to steal) The most important thing that only you have pointed out is that it can be removed so quickly and damage done that one needs to be alerted within seconds of them getting underneath the car. Getting an alert from a cam and calling the police will likely have the same outcome, damage done and repairs / replacement necessary even though they were caught and potentially arrested. My deductible is $500. For those that do not have insurance of course it could be thousands in repair/replacement cost. Thanks for sharing an idea that likely will prevent the thefts.
