This is my favorite color combination for the S2K. I especially love the way these cars look in stock form. What all did you have to do to the car in order to refresh it?
you have a very nicely done CBF .. it does have 1982 paint scheme however. . 81 had just a racing stripe down the side of the tank, my *82 900F had this exact decaling, it is the best looking too. We see many folks putting the cb1100f running gear on CBX's too. Those '83 cb1100f were race-bred. all the components were top shelf and then Bamm! one and done.......on come the V's and liquid cooling.
That was a perfect upstart 👍🙂👍 So many give gas emigently, even the oil NOT... have come out in all places in the engine...here this guy do it perfectly.. respect for you 👍👍
Had many different early 80s bikes back in the day but they always got sold off. After having newer bikes I've come full circle back to a 1983 1100f and 1979 CBX.
Nice! Where did you get the 150 MPH speedo? England? Australia? Back in the day, I owned a SUZUKI GS1100E from that year. The 85 mph speedo drove me crazy. When I restored the motorcycle, after one of the crashes (I was 21), I purchased a proper speedometer in Europe.
My favorite color combo on a 750 or 900F. Had an '80 750 and miss it. You take extra good care of that beauty. Just watched a race on yt with Freddie Spencer, Wes Cooley. and Eddie Lawson racing in '81. A time when the race bikes looked badass. Ride a Z900 now and a few others, but it was more fun back then. Agree,this colour combo is what I saw everyday as a kid on a 750f version ridden by a guy from across the road who passed his test on his blue 250 super dream. I love both bikes with a passion. Only found these 900f's a couple of months ago. A proper cruiser ,I thought gsx1100e's we're good this is well up there as a favourite old gen bike. Beautiful noise and condition👍🏻
Had a '72 Scamp but it had the Slant 6. It sure would be awesome to take yours for a spin and do the time warp thing back to 1980. Sounds like a nice rocket.🚀🚀🚀
