Hi there! In our LARP/Sport Belegarth lots of folks choose to forgo armour -- Since this is just a very brief video about grip, no real reason to wear it here :)
This is how we used to play AmptGard. Was a Ninja. Used 2 foam wakazashi, Nunchiks made of foam, and had paper throwing stars I wrapped in duct tape. Was great fun.
Fun fact: Bokken (bokutō) typically weigh between 17 and 18oz, the minimum weight for Belegarth is ~12oz. So, sure, slightly lighter than what you were using, but fairly close all things considered. But hey! Whatever helps you feel like a tough guy on the internet
@Ze_B0F ooo.... wrong about the weight. 3.5 lbs.. in fact. And dense with a defined edge. If you hit something limp wristed, you would feel it in the wrist or have it knocked from your hands. Don't mind the larp videos where people are having fun but when you try to promote it as if you have some skill, it's just pathetic. Cheers!
