If we end up in Nassau again I think we would take one of the public transportation services just outside the terminal and try another beach area. This was ok, but wasn't the cleanest place I've been.

You mentioned Carnival very quickly. As a cruise veteran, try to avoid Carnival if you can. They're cheaper, sure, but it's like cruising with Walmart. I'd stick with Royal, Celebrity, or Norwegian. Just my unasked for two cents!
Appreciate it. We have just been on RC Oasis of the seas and MSC Meraviglia which we loved both. Rc the most but Carnival was just the 1st other 1 that popped to mind. What I've seen from being in ports with other ships is carnival looks trashy. Would love to try Norwegian next.
We brought our own. Have decent sets for cheaper on Amazon. Have been to a resort once and the rental equipment goes from one person to another with a couple squirts of cleaner only. Kinda gross. Plus they usually leak on me

I just got back from a cruise on this ship and I can tell you that my expectations weren’t good at first, well I was surprised on how beautiful the ship is and how good the food was considering the bad reviews, sometimes its better to risk it and give it a try for yourself!
Am from the Bahamas 🇧🇸 don’t feel bad even doe u wasn’t that far out they kept telling u to far is because we have sharks not like the USA type these shark sneaky so u wouldn’t see them coming it happen a lot of times
