At my old house we had the roof redone through insurance after a nasty storm ripped up some shingles. They didn’t run the magnet adequately and had to buy us a couple tires 😂
I use mine a lot because I live on a farm. There's no shortage of rusty pieces around my main yard, and I try to spare the chickens from ingesting too many random bits of slag if I can help it. It's also a lifesaver for finding dropped tools in tall grass. You cant roll it over the grass but you can still drag it behind you an listen for the "clink".
When you make a RU-vid video for roofers to hype over, while normal people have no idea what’s happening. Are you advising the roofers then? Or am I supposed to know what 50 years costs verse whatever he said at the end? Is the thing that costs more the pictures of roof that isn’t shingles? It showed half a second. Pretty sure it was less than the video time limit. Why not spend an extra second letting him finish the phrase for whatever the other type of roof was?
@rick516104 we can't even buy 2400 sqft for 7k . I'd say you lucked out big time. You should send the guy a Christmas present this yr for sure. And maybe a b day gift too. 😆
@chadsheridan353 yea the prices have sure went up alot in just 2yrs ..it's ridiculous..makes honest business men look like they're gouging and to be honest it's making the manufacturers a bank roll ..there's no reason for prices to be that high for metal imo
It's 3 tab, we don't lay that anymore. It's got hail damage it's probably 2 layers and it's probably got wind damage too, popped nails loose cap rusty nail heads. Yeah get these folks a new roof plz.
@prolineapp I was a roofer in Ohio for the past 5 yrs. I fell 2 stories to concrete and broke my back. And I can't do it anymore. But this would be an immediate replacement for us. No repairs no questions, as long as u had insulin that wasn't complete crap.
If a roof needs inspection, good guess there’s a lot of granular loss already… meaning your stair has nothing to grab to. And you’re trusting the shingle nails to hopefully not rip thru putting 200# on a 5 worn shingle.
My co worker had one of these let loose before as we had them where I worked he spent 9 months off work recovering from the fall that happened I was his roommate be very careful about using these I learned spikes are so much better than these steps
That better only be used for setting your PFAS anchor. This is not approved for work. You HAVE to have a harness. F bosses who want their guys to fall off roofs.
You’re goofy. You can protect the gutter and your life by extending the ladder at least one ring higher and by tying off your ladder to prevent slippage. You appear to have done neither.
Even with slightly longer grass, just flip the magnet upside down wher the magnet will be facing BACK instead of DOWN, then, as you pass over the nail, it will be dragged to the back of the magnet and won't ve knocked off by the grass
