Thank you for explaining this clearly, instead of just sort of magically showing how it's done in a way no one can possibly duplicate like other videos.
I haven't rigged in maya for 13 years 😂 here's a hint i discovered for things like fingers which can be hard to put joint placement, use toon outline it stays there in x ray mode.
I am bookmarking this! It seems like every time I open one of my collapsible backdrops, I need to watch this to remind me. But actually, I think you made this so intuitive that I may remember how. THANK YOU!!!
I am glad it helps. Here is another video that I made of a way that is a little bit faster to do and some people find easier: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-R9Bg50BdXWg.htmlsi=hhUg-nUI0UhlAZTi
I made an updated video of an even faster method. You can find it here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-R9Bg50BdXWg.htmlsi=YKa49ZsMyFcCL7v8
You are welcome. Here is another video of even faster method that some people find easier: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-R9Bg50BdXWg.htmlsi=YKa49ZsMyFcCL7v8
You can find the setting under SW Setup in the Menu. Peaking Color is where you can set the peaking color. Peaking Level is where you can set the degree to which it shows peaking. When you scroll down to Focus Assist 1 you can set it to Both, Peaking, or Expand. When set to Both it will blow up a section that you can drag around and show the peaking of the magnified section. When set to Peaking it will not magnify a section it will just have focus peaking. I hope this helps.
