I've been blessed to see this show live a few times, but this overhead drone experience brings a totally different and unique experience to this award winning performance. I still get emotionally rocked by the Bluecoats whenever they display their excellence. Someone mentioned how much the show changed and yes, compared to end of season, it did. Thank you very, much for posting this. Made my day Mr Newsome.
I did see a drone flying around Allentown, whose I do not know. Also might’ve been only the encore day cause of rain, idk if they had one going the day prior
@@dlnews27 fabulous work, my man! That’s always been a dream job of mine to either work the DCI broadcast or travel with a corps. Congrats on that gig, Bloo is such a classy org
@dlnews27 that's what we in the industry call "wall of sound". That part is my favorite part of the show. My next favorite part is the rest of the show
FAA federal Law prohibits drones for stadiums for events of 30K seats and no fly zone including 1hr prior and after scheduled event FAA 107 license is required for commercial productions I'm curious how pilot got permission? part 107.23 restriction flying over people unless a waiver is granted and they aint cheap not to mention the risk of loss of control in stadium is huge penalty part 107.39 code.
This entire book (front ensemble, battery, everything) is written perfectly…when one section ends a phrase, the other section solis; masterfully assembled. I love the bass work; these gents are playing as-if they have a metronome surgically installed; they’re playing so tight and perfectly WRT time. The mallets similarly seem as if they’re taking the same breaths at the same time; phrasing is perfect and the lines are superbly executed. Snares and tenors’ parts and execution of same is just lovely. Plates are reinventing a beautiful wheel of cymbology, and the Mosh Pit is doing an amazing job of interpreting a very meaningful and powerful script of sound and ideas. I love your show.
@@dlnews27 that’s dope!!! I really like your cinematography!! Every video on my channel has been shot on my cell phone. I Really want get an actual camera (lumix s5 markiiX ) I see more and more actual cinematographers working with drum corps and wgi drumlines and I really want to get there! Until then I’ll work with what I have! Seeing content like yours really inspires me on what I’ll be to accomplish with an actual camera and better codex to work with!
