I agree. Many of the design details have been lost over time. The same thing is happening with new homes or buildings. All the great features of distinction are missing these days.

Canadian flagged. It has some kind of wooden plaque on the outside helm area, but I can;t see a name on it, or on the stern. She is shiny, may have just had a paint job and going to put the name on later. Beautiful classic yacht.

Is there more information on this yacht? I have tried searching but cannot find anything on this yacht especially under the name Jackie O? Who built and when was it built?
I do not believe this is "Jackie O". That yacht has very similar looking lines as does "Christina O" but both of these were built for Onassis on the hulls of Canadian frigates and are fundamentally different to this. The classic lines indicate a similar vintage of craft but much of the accomodation superstructure looks more modern. Having said that, Camper & Nicholson were still building to this design into the 1960s.
I didn’t catch the name of this yacht as it cruised by. It is docked down the way from me and I’ll try and capture the actual name. It’s docked at 1077 Hillsboro Mile, Hillsboro beach FL
