I can't measure torque in ounces. My robot said that's 14 kilograms. Why do people measure torque in ounces? Because it masks how low of a KG the servo is. That's like your broadband provider measuring maximum speeds in megabits instead of megabytes, because 8 megabits is only one megabyte, so it sounds more impressive and fools newbies. Please don't list torque in ounces, nobody does that. If your servo is only 14kg but you like it, that's fine. But don't make everyone use a conversion chart just to understand what you're talking about, please. Thank you.
hey nice vid man! i have an element enduro too but with 12.8 inches wheel base. was thinking of using the cliffhanger body. do you think it would fit? planning to trim the rear part so that the rear wheel will fit.
I find the Pline duals to soft.. I cant figure out why proline doesnt offer different outter foam stiffnesses and sizes.. I guess they dont want to make money.
I run lead in the front wheels, anywhere from 3oz in each. Up to 8oz in each, and for the most part, its just shy of unstoppable. Well for a scale trail truck anyway.
The "S" rating of the battery does not alter the torque power or speed of a servo. The only thing that will give more or less power to a servo is the BEC of your receiver, which will be either 6v, 6.8v, 7.4v, or 8.4v 3s would be 11.2 volts, which no servo runs at. The "S" rating does not affect your BEC, which is the only way to change the voltage your servo receives. So, "800oz on 3s" does not help anyone, because your vehicle may have a high BEC of 8.4v, and someone else using the servo at 6v would get a significantly lower torque than you. Please if you want to recommend things to people, learn what actually controls the servo voltage and strength, because it's not the "S" rating of your lipo. Thank you. Maybe join a forum for better understanding of the servo voltage, BEC setting of receiver, etc...
Hi there from Czech Republic. Nice video with commentary. I also happen to be thinking about a TRX4 Sport with a Knightrunner body. I plan to use the super body parts from Club5 Racing. What kind of bumpers do you have please? Thanks a lot.
I'm buying this exact servo for my kraton v2 4s. And it looks like it will have plenty of power for my driving style. I'm just a basher but I don't like the s652 servos that comes with the kraton.
I don’t have any experience with anything other than RTR tires. I literally just got in the mail though my Mickey Thompson, Baja X tires for my Capra and G8 compound. I was wondering if I should be regretting that and get predator. Let me ask you how come you prefer G8 over predator?
