Die hard Spurs fan here...I'll never forget it age 19 coming back from school seeing the score on my nba tv...."wtf is this b.s.? Oh that's an error how embarrassing they got that wrong no one can't score that much" keep in mind in those day's most teams averaged 85 points a game at best....i was actually going call my cable company to see if my channel was glitching or something I'm serious until I saw the highlights and than the full game stuck on repeat all that day....that's when i went from hating kobes guts to respecting the hell out of him. NO ONE had ever seen anything like that since jordan maybe? Even though 69 was his best or my personal goat the admiral David Robinson with 71 in '94 but this....was different Kobe hit 81 mostly from outside shots tons of them...i remember not long after this game my Spurs destroyed a young hornets team 120-68 or something rediclous like that...and sean elliot and Bill land the local announcers pointed out the fact Kobe outscored that entire hornets team with his 81 points all by himself...lol...absolutely incredible.
Im in Australia and i am a huge bulls fan, i love MJ and the Chicago era of the NBA.. But man Kobe Bryant was special. No one ever trained as hard MJ, but Kobe is the one exception. I am 3 years younger than the mamba, he was taken too early.. But you know what they say, " only the good die young". RIP Kobe, I know you're playing hoops in heaven. Thankyou..

Kobe was way better than LeBron in the early years of LeBrons career. Kobe could do it all. While LeBron didn't have a jump shot or the ability to make free throw. Prime Kobe would torch LeBron.
They’re the same how can u say Kobe better when Kobe himself got his game n everything he did from Michael Jordan even the tongue out jus like mike the fadeaways everything
He was feeling it you can see when he came off them screens he wasn't thinking or second guessing it sometimes you can get back in the play after a player beats you and catches the ball off of a screen by the time the defender is trying to get back in the play he has already shot the ball before they can even set up he is half a second faster pulling up watch it he already has his shoulders square before you can get in the play AMAZING performance Kobe said don't look at what i did look at the How
