why don’t they tell the story where they all lived off of him and took their wives to fancy restaurants etc. on elvis’ tab while he was cooped in the hotel preparing for the next show unable to join them
Poor Ty. As of May 28, 2024, his lifetime batting average of .367 is no longer tops as it has been since his retirement in 1928. It has been exceeded by Josh Gibson's .372, even though he had far fewer league plate appearances (13103 to 2526).
Knowing elvis wasnt all fun for these guys, and Priscilla taking alot of criticism it has to be hurtful when you go through alot with the person you love
Elvis i believe was not perfect , his own worst enemy in many ways , yes i believe he had a bad temper but you know i think he was a good person living a life few could cope with , until you have walked in his shoes dont judge , he gave and gave until there was nothing left !!!😏🇬🇧
Elvis was a fallible human being. People need to stop making out like he was some Prophet who walked on water... as it was HE who also said "he was NOT King... Jesus Christ was." I love and loved Elvis like everyone else however, making Elvis out to be somebody who did NO WRONG... & did NOT have a temper & did NOT use it etc. is doing a disservice to HIM and everyone else! Did these guys speak out when they maybe should not have? Possibly, but they ALSO are fallible human beings & a person can only take so much from Elvis Presley or whomever... people need to stop putting Elvis on a pedestal! He does not belong up there and he would be the first to agree! It gets tiring hearing how "perfect" Elvis was when he wasn't! No one can live up to THAT and maybe that was ONE of the reasons WHY Elvis did not have long to live on this Earth. As Elvis said himself... "the image is one thing and the human being is another" and "it's hard to live up to an image" and that's what Elvis was, an image, but also a human being.
The sharpened spikes was a dirty lie. He was often employed a variety of slides to avoid contact, including different approach angles and kicking up dirt so opposing infielders couldn't see his approach to make the tag.
2nd best my ass, look at the record book bud. You follow the mainstream bandwagon nut licking crowd of Ruth. Who was voted into the hall of fame first ? Ruth was a winner but he was a sloppy role model . He’s first in other categories but the BEST in Baseball. Your subliminal bs about labeling this video Cobb, 2nd best is a complete JOKE.
@@Grizzlied555 bahaha he wasn’t a career pitcher, that’s how I know you don’t know baseball. Did you even play? Should have would have could have. Record book, hall of fame, Nuff said
I love the way the narrator turns himself into a hypocrite, he wasnt talented compared to todays players? Then they say the next breath, that he showed great amount of talent! And how does he know how good Ty Cobb was? There’s no tape of him even playing, except the blurry old black and white 2 taping they have on him! He also adored Willie Mays amd said “He was the only player in professional baseball worth a shit” lol so there goes his racist antics that’s we’ve all been bread to believe!
These men did love Elvis . Elvis had a temper and was very abusive alit to them and all the people in his life. They put up with with his nasty temper and drugged up behavior. Their venting and trying to see the humor in this but their hiring and they did love him
