I love your ads that you make, they are all terrific I feel! I have many pairs of your socks, love all of them! And they all feel very comforting to wear.
Right now all of lint waste (similar to what you see weighed from a sample in the video, but once the socks are in full production becomes what we lovingly call our "lint sausage"), mis-knits, and warranty socks (returned from customers over time) are baled together and sent to a facility in Rhode Island run by The Brickle Group [ thebricklegroup.com/h-brickle-fiber-trading-and-recycling/ ] where the clean stuff is shredded and blended into things like emergency blankets. The dirtier stuff gets sent to another facility and turned into things like automotive batting.
@darntoughvermont121 I don't know what sectors of business, but am positive that the conservation-minded consumer, from here out west, would Love to see a field trip of this activity occurring. I hadn't thought about turning them inside out to wash. But Darn Tough socks are tough that I'll probably use bleach, fabric softener, and iron them just to see if I can wear them out ;-)
I sent in 3 pairs of worn out socks to the Vancouver BC, Canada headquarters a few weeks ago and have not received my replacements yet. Kind of dissapointed.

I sent in 3 pairs to the Vanccouver BC location after 2 years in Mexico vlogging for my RU-vid channel. All 3 had a hole in the same spot, who knows why. I hope my replacement arrives before I ship out again because I live only 30 minutes away from the Darn Tough Vancouver location. I will make a video about how good these socks are.
