As long as I understand, from the very first of script it was Springer, who had to destroy the whole Deceptions squad turning from the car to helicopter while Optimus was fighting Megatron. But in the end they decided to give this battle to Prime.
I've been on an ABBA kick and it's interesting how some of their songs end up in this one. Not calling Plagarism, just some nice snipits from them in this song

Two things that I would have liked to see in this scene: The Combat Deck and Roller taking out Decepticons in Prime's path before they got destroyed themselves (rather than just the trailer getting whacked) and Prime breaking out the Energon Axe. Regardless, this is one of the closest to perfect scenes of Heroism put to cinema or any medium.
How the models didn’t jam with the band is beyond me!!!! The killa beats with Keith and Maxim all over the place like that!!!! A TRUE MISSED OPPORTUNITY 👎👎👎
