Right now I've been playing Star Wars Outlaws and Starfield back to back, jumping from one to the other as the mood strikes, and it's really striking how detailed and thoughtfully designed the environments in Outlaws are versus Starfield. New Atlantis is easily the worst offender - the SSNN office is just a giant, empty cavernous lobby with a giant, empty desk where one woman sits. She sits in the lobby but she's a reporter, also? There's no furniture around her besides the giant empty desk she sits at?
I bought the Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox One version, brand new, for £10. You get the Series X/S upgrade for free, so essentially I have the X/S version for £10 - it's priced at £45 new. That's a bargain for a brilliant game. Starfield? Meh. It's free on Game Pass and I still don't want to play it.
alot of games dont work like the waking dead 🤓 we couldnt sign u in xbox live also wo long i cant play on my controller also still wakes the deep cant use controller u search in google evry one say somthing in the end still not work and some games have proploms old games
This is the same thing that happened to me. Bought Starfield, played for about 30 hours, Cyberpunk 2.0 update dropped, left and never went back. Starfield is uninstalled and I have zero interest in Shattered Space. It's sad because I've been a long time Bethesda fan since Morrowind.
I finished Cyberpunk on PS4, I bought it on pre-order... was good, but, i got disapointed... then Starfield arrived, I played on series S for many hours, but I just stopped, it was boring.. Starfields IA is terrible, like ubisofts games, TERRIBLE... days later cyberpunk went on sale, and so I bought... and WOOOOOOOOOOOOOW the game its just perfect right now
If Sony was trying to be Apple they'd release a new PS5 every year. The PS5 Pro is just for people with expensive TV's and must have the best graphics. Most gamers don't need it. I guess everyone thought it would be $100 more than the PS5 Slim. Maybe everyone should wait until they can see games running on a PS5 Pro in person on a top of the line TV. Everyone is judging the graphics based on a RU-vid video. Bad way to do that. As for having to buy the Blu-Ray drive and stand, that makes it cheaper. Everyone doesn't care about the drive or the stand. Buy them if you need them.
i promise you the only reason they did this was because they talked to Rockstar and basically worked out something that would force people to play the gta 6 game on this console, and they know people will just eat the cost to play it
@@ellovitogaming7885 what am i not getting. sony releasing a console at 700. all hardware seems expensive. I doubt that they wil make much on teh console. normally they sell consoles at a lose and make money on the games. probably they are not selling pro at a lose and do you blame them?
dude you got 3 last gen games on a new console in the ps5 and said you had fun - you are part of the problem. if we want good things from game companies we gotta stop wasting money on remakes, last gen games, and DLC. people act like they want original, good games but YOU KEEP BUYING THE SHIT THEY PUT OUT people say gaming sucks now BUT THEY KEEP BUYING THE GAMES AND CONSOLES - they are the problem
First month wooow i have alot of games second ok not bad after 3 monthes iam not renew my subscription see you after 2 years not worth renew for maby i get 1 good game per month
Clearly an ad - best advice I can give is to take the 10 dollars a month, go to cd keys or even better a price comparison site and get the cheapest deal. Then it's yours and you can play it forever
$700 without the discdrive is crazy. Psplus is expensive and no quality game. Sony fans need to understand that and stop supporting this shit. Controllers are $80 , Plus is expensive, $700 console + stand + disc drive, like what the fuck.
Not only Playstation. From my point of view, I see Intel also copies Apple's business model. Ps: These three companies are now stuck at the innovation edge point. Let's see, if they'll scale up to the next level.
for me the biggest difference between Starfeild and CBP2077 is story. CBP2077 made me cry several times over. When I chose the um... endgame yourself ending in CBP I was hysterical. Not a single Bethesda game has ever made me feel anything like that. The story of CBP is so good. It feels so real. And not having a true happy ending feels so much like real life. You're not saving the world, you can't save yourself, fundamentally you change nothing yet it stays with you like no other game could.
Cyberpunk can change quite a lot depending on the choices you make. Starfield plays the same every time because there is no choice, only the illusion of it. Starfield is about exploring… and they managed to make it boring. They made exploring the stars boring!!!
I remember dropping Cyberpunk a few times before the 2.0 patch and everything after it. I still can't figure out why I wasn't as engaged as I wanted to be. But regardless I recently decided to give it another shot and boy it had me hooked for DAYS. And after finishing the whole game I couldn't stop myself from starting up a new save file and new run of Cyberpunk. Cyberpunk is really one of those games that once you get sucked into it, you are in for a long time. I don't think I had not one dull moment while playing it either. And I've got so many fond memories from the story and even basic gameplay that I probably won't ever forget. Whatever CDPR did to Cyberpunk absolutely worked because it's quickly become one of my favorite single player games.
Recently Started playing Cyberpunk myself knowing the CDP as usual got their act tougether and made the game playable and my fucking god I went full Barbarian with a PHD in Science and Technology and it is the most fucking fun I had in oh so long. Big ass fucking shotgun only and when my enemies are out of reach I can just look at them have thunders crack down behind my as my eyes start glowing gazing down on my enemy as i say "YOU SHOULD FLATLINE URSELF NOW!" and they do. It is just an absolute blast.
Gamepass is awesome for me now. I have a 10 month old and i dont get much time to game anymore and moneys tight. So having a huge variety of new stuff to play when i have time to sit down is awesome. Just played through doom eternal and dead space, gonna do lies of p next!
@@RyzenX12more than Starfield though? Starfield has procedural contracts, ship building, outpost building. Tell me what does cyberpunk have besides buying cars and NPCd missions
Starfield has one of if not the worst intros to a game ever too. The whole mining thing, getting the magic space rock and having the Constellation guy show up just feels so slapped together. And then after that "Take my ship and go slaughter pirates". Its just so bland, there is no real intro to the universe, or even just some background on the mining operation, or why theres any contact with Constellation, or who they are. Its so bad.
Who cares? You think your opinion is correct? I can’t stand Cyberpunk, it’s shite to me and I’m about to put in my 400 hour into Starfield. Weird how it works both ways… hmmm weird.
CDPR is a bethesda spanker after they updated cyberpunk and added the DLC its clear that they are the bethesda we deserve even if its not the bethesda tobbs fan boys want
The worst part about cyberpunk is the intro cutscene I wish i was actually playing those instead of watching it, i guess it supposed to be playable at somepoint but they scartch it because it gonna take too long before we reach johnny silver hand story
cyberpunked is mid, starfield is peak. starfiled is going to go down as a classic in gaming history, while cyberdumb will be forgotten, only remembered by loser nerds that watch anime.
i wanted to say only two things. -i think that generally cp word is morr attractive and more easy to do funny(and its a "new" type of world without any opponent, starfield had no mans sky) -CP is the second version, if we wait and we hai believed in starfield it would have get better. with this i dont support bad games on relase date so fuck both. sorry for my english i wish do un understood the message
There are people that turn to reviews like that because they raise points important to them. There's an irony that you talk about the professionalism of people misrepresenting that interview yet you misrepresent the argument in the review.
Yup. And that's why I'm pretty sure I emphasized that the statements made in the video are my beliefs. I'm not here to tell people what to do what not deem as important. Now regarding misrepresenting the argument, I'll review what I said and of that is the case I'll do better next time. Appreciate your feedback!
The whole point with starfield is that it was made to be modded, for the modding community to fix that shit, because that's what happened in previous bethesda games and gave bethesda the impression that so long as they gave some base features and something remotely resembling a story line that they have created a masterpiece because they see whatever the modders added as their own accomplishment
"is that it was made to be modded" no it wasn't. That's pure bullshit or copium and you know it. If it was made to be modded, you'd have the full construction set released with the game and have game files open in plain editable format, like games that were actually made to be fully modded do it (Rimworld, for example, has the base game and all DLCs implemented as mods on top of the very basic sub-Core functionality). Starfield was made as a reskin of Skyrim in space, nothing more, nothing less. Same shitty animations, same lack of substance, same exact fucking exploits even.
@user-xh9pu2wj6b i don't know it because i've never played it, was just a comment based on how bethesda has been with previous games. Also, in no way was it copium because i know the game is trash and in no way am i trying to convince myself otherwise
I can't help but laugh at people who give their money to a company to make a game that lasts 100 hours of gameplay at best. And then compare it to a company that makes games which is still playable today... CDPR may have 1.63B more than Bethesda Softworks. But that's only because people love to pirate Bethesda games lol... I mean by all means go ahead pour your love into a game that plays for a hundred hours at best, I know you will go back to Starfield despite what you said. I mean its already 10 months ago so you are probably already back. Because lets face it, nobody wants to keep repeating the same shit over and over again. Also I just want to add, if you can't play patiently on Starfield maybe don't play any Bethesda game? I'm serious you really don't know that Bethesda games are made like this, you play for a long time and most of the moments is dull. But at least the GAMES IS NOT LIMITED! Also Character customization is way far ahead of Cyberpunk 2077 even by the time Skyrim was released. You can't change body shape in Cyberpunk... In conclusion a game that you finish and delete, can NEVER compare to a game that you can keep playing. And don't even let me start talking about Bethesda's modding community, because at that moment CDPR is easily blown out the window. Even the community of CDPR games does not have a quarter of mods for the game which makes it a whole new game. But I guess most people are just limited to the game and never heard of modding...
I regret playing Cyberpunk 2077 before starfield it has completely ruined the game for me. Starfield is so boring.. I spent 2 days just in the first city you visit doing fetch quests so much boring filler 90% of the quests in Starfield are boring filler. While Cyberpunk all it's quests are great! Heck it's random encounters have more depth than the main storyline in Starfield.
Holy crap!!! I have been a huge pc gamer my whole life. Had a pc since 1999 and just now finding out about this. I just noticed the xbox emblem on the login screen. I hovered over it just to see what it was. Microsoft really should market this. There is no reason for me to be using Microsoft as my daily go to platform and know nothing about this. I only ever use steam. I use Epic and GOG when I'm forced to though. Honestly never heard of a subscription for tripple a games.
11:00 100 planets would still have the same problem as 1000; the over-reliance on procedural generation instead of hand-crafted content. Realistically they should have had maybe a dozen proper hand-crafted planets, with procedural generation as a supplemental thing on top of that. The generation tech they implemented was definitely not sophisticated enough to be their main crutch.
