I miss Orlando, l'm born in Puerto Rico and at age 6 1998 | moved there. I love Orlando but it's changing and it's getting a little bit worse toh, each day. And it's true jobs out there don't pay enough for the living environment. I lived in Boston, and went back to Orlando and I also moved to NYC about a year ago and comparing, I just miss it. My heart will always go to the city beautiful at the end of the day. Just gotta put the work in if you're thinking about moving there. I just think it's a disadvantage that there is barely any jobs, or at least any good paying jobs in Orlando. I'm planning to move back in the near future with the job I'm currently working with and transfer.
For sure the cost of living here has outstripped the wage increases most people have received here in Orlando, I know it's the same in a lot of other places as well. Hey, thanks for the video. I have taken it to Winter Park and Sanford, but I’m waiting for the opening for Deland. Did they say when they’re going to open it July or later? Another question please, the church Street station do you need to go across the bridge to get to the taco restaurant or is it easy to get to on foot ?
There's no specific date on Deland as of today, but it's "Summer". I know they ran the emergency tests and are in the "test ride" phase. We'll likely do a video short when it opens, so make sure you subscribe to the channel to be notified. As for the taco place, it's a very short walk. No bridge, no road crossings. The place is literally right outside the station. I hope you get out there and enjoy it, if you do let us know!

For sure we have an insurance crisis here. The legislators and regulators are working on it but the issue has massive complexity and the fixes are taking a long time to work through the system. It does need to be part of the calculus in a decision to live here. One way to avoid the highest costs in insurance here is to avoid the coasts and buy new(er) construction. The buildings that meet the newest codes have lower insurance.
Navy, 1989-1999, Desert storm, Gulf War. Then Civil Service. Was just early Federal disability retired from DoD May 17th. From Pensacola, and looking to come home, somewhere in FL. In San Diego ATM.

@@moving-to-orlando-florida My favorite thing about Orlando FL is all of the amusement parks and the Airport and it absolutely gorgeous and a great view from the Roller coasters. Me and my boyfriend were also thinking about moving to Orlando because he loves the amusement parks so do I especially SeaWorld
