Inshore saltwater fishing in the southwest Florida region. My videos are to entertain, educate and inspire different aspects of fishing from start to finish.
I've caught 5 over 36, all on hand sized live pinfish. All at e.g. Simmons park in Ruskin. Big baits catch big snook. Congrats on your fish of a lifetime.
Great Video!! What is your setup? I am going to be traveling to Hollywood Fl in October and want to catch some snook and jacks and want to get setup right.
That's a shiner, or known to northern's as white bait! Also it works better if hooked through the belly. So the fish can swing up right naturally & the hooks weight is looking more life like & it lives longer.
Unlike California where people come out screaming at you to get off their property and they don't even own the beach but try to bully because they are Rich! They think they own all the way to the water or atleast try to act as if they do to scare people. Californians suck lol. Liberals!
Spanish Mackerel aren't illegal to keep. My 44 pound and 48 pound Reds from Galveston will eat those Reds. Still enjoyed watching this. AND why didn't you bend the hook back?
I caught a giant snook on a big piece of Bonita on wire a few years ago shark fishing in red fish pass those fish can be line shy as can be or suicidal
Excellent tip . Definitely going to try the mullet. Thanks for video. FYI saw a 30-36 tarpon in the retaining pond next too the railroad tracks by the linear bike. path today 6:30 am .Its packed with water lillies . Not the large canal .
Hope those guys didn't keep that snook...anyway I got all my fish on a fake shrimp today. They werent taking ANY cut bait...crab, ladyfish, shrimp, or greenbacks...just my lure. Git a couple nice pompano and a nice seatrout...lost two big ones also but nothing on cut bait....????
Great Snook. I am recovering from hip replacement surgery and missing fishing a lot. I was there by boat on the inland side of the bridge catching snook and snapper about a month ago. Hopefully in another month I will get back out there.
