That is not a sink. There is no sink. It is simply a pimped up street water tap.

I have had one for a couple of years. I can attest that what he says is right. That said, I've never needed any more than two days and that's a snap. Have used it to keep wild hog cold for an 8 hour drive as well as freshly caught salmon - it does a great job. Mine has the wheels and handle which have been a lifesaver when its heavy.

I have both the low loss fitting and the one with the shutoff valve. I like the low loss better especially for the high side because you don't lose anything. You don't have to worry about the refrigerant spitting back on you. Just try it once and let me know what you think.

According to the National Electrical Code (NEC) ampacity tables, the minimum wire size for a 100 Amp circuit is: 3 AWG Copper. That 8 AWG wire is severely undersized and may overheat; and as such is a fire hazard. I believe they misunderstood the directions. Each breaker requires an 8 AWG wire since they are 40 Amp breakers. If they were wiring the hot water heater directly from the main service panel, 8 AWG wire would have been appropriate. However, they are using a subpanel which means it must safely carry the entire load of all three breakers. The breaker for the subpanel is under-sized for the application. The water heater is rated for 120 Amps and is being supplied by a 100 Amp breaker. This is much less of an issue than the wire size but should also be addressed. I hope they reconsider their installation and upgrade the devices to spec.

@alittlebitofeverythinghome4333

The work life balance in controls is much better than regular HVAC or Refrigeration. You still have on call service where you rotate. But many of the issues can be resolved from home on your laptop.

Thank you sir, i actually was hired with no formal experience on a maintenance crew, my boss got me one of these since I don’t have one at the time. The whole crew was supportive and taught me a lot, I’ve been working for them now about 4-5 months and have grown a lot more confident working on my own. You mentioned briefly about the guy that didn’t work out who had never seen one of these before. I’d just like to say that any longhorns out there and you get a new guy on your team don’t be afraid to show em a thing or too and make ‘em feel welcome, they just might stay and surprise you. Always great video thanks fam!

9 and 10 are called Robertson (square drive) number 1 and 2. Number 2 square head is often used for breaker screws snd also removing the panel. In woodworking the square #2 (robertson) is used for pocket hole screws primarily and are also widely used in Canada in deck screws. That's Canadas version of the USAs T25 torx head deck screws used in the USA. I got this 11 in 1 as part of a 22 piece kit with toolbag at my work (Lowe's) on clearance for a hell of a deal. $15 for the whole toolkit.
