Morning! I’m Mick, and this channel will be a documentation on my journey to self sufficiency. I want to live on my own terms and am willing to do whatever it takes to make that happen. So I’m going to Alaska to make something of myself and (hopefully) not starve/freeze this winter. Glad to have you along :) #AvantLink
The jelly looks delicious! Blueberry pancakes would be great. I’m not a fan of Mushrooms, so to me they’re not a loss. 🫤 I think art with an Alaska theme - trees, flowers, wild life, mountains, streams - would be great!
Loved the video! I’m glad there’s someone else who loves cool walks in a fall rain as much as I do haha. Always a fantastic and subtle 侘び寂び kind of experience
🍵🫐🫐I love the lounge music u play in the background. It makes me want to curl up across from you and sip some tea outside your cabin. We would like to go visit Alaska. We lived in Wasilla for close to seven years. Our sunny boy 23 was born there in 2001. Perhaps some day...😊
I love making jams from blueberries , strawberries and the raspberry , so good , have not tried Labrador tea but have tried pine needle tea in the winter to avoid colds . Love your art work your a talented young guy.
YOU GOTTA BE CAREFUL WITH THOSE SHROOMS YOU EAT HE WRONG ONE AND YOU COULD BE TRIPPING BALLS OR WORSE YET DEAD. GLAD YOU STRESSED THE IMPORTANCE OF KNOWING WHAT YOU PICK.
I think, showing your art at the beginning of the videos is a great way to sell your art who wants to deal with an online store🤷♀️👍 Your rock path looks beautiful
I just ate three peices of over buttered toast with too much grape jelly. Breakfast for every meal totally rules. I am 70 and love your channel !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I actually loved your scrap bird houses. Would love to purchase one as ours have fallen apart, time to get new ones. Let me know if that is something you would consider. Also, I have a large veggie garden that is totally organic. I dehydrate veggies and we help feed eleven disabled people. Would love to send you some of the dehydrated veggies for soups and such this winter, no cost, just to share the bounty. We make a lot of soups during winter and just add the dehydrated items right into the pot. Take care, good video.
What is Labrador tea made from? I’m not familiar with it, and didn’t recognize what you made it from. So cool that you’re finding and foraging such good stuff!
Lovely to see you ! It is so cool to make food from what you find around you ! The strawberry jam looks so good ! I discovered a Choke Cherry tree behind my house last year and processed enough to make a couple of jars of syrup (similar to Elderberry syrup) . Unfortunately , the bearing branches are too high for this Grandma to safely reach this year...sigh...ladders on soft ground and now-fragile bones, are a recipe for disaster for me ! Stay safe , well and curious !
