@@rzl07375 I suppose it could come down to the shifting? Roy’s Honda Rancher 420 is a button shifter, and my Yamaha Kodiak 450 is automatic/only throttle. Not sure if the new Ranchers are automatic as well? Plus the Rancher is a single axel, where the Kodiak is dual suspension.
@@mittenmichiganquadsquad Newer Ranchers have everything from a standard foot shift , electronic push button shift, all the way to a geared transmission that shifts by itself, plus solid axle or irs suspension. Lots of Rancher configurations in the Honda lineup lol. Do both of them have enough power to have fun on? Rancher a lil more sporty with the gears? Im on a budget and will use them in Northern Michigan 50 inch trails and for light work as well.
@@rzl07375 Both definitely have enough power to have fun on those trails! Plus enough power for utility stuff. For example, I had to tow a Polaris recently and that did it with ease.
Growing up in Florida I had a guy in a 4 wheeler tow my car out of sugar sand one time. Just a shirtless dude out of nowhere to save the day lol. Rednecks are alright, just stay away from racist shitheads but those are everywhere, not unique to redneck culture.
