Interesting. I own this bag for nearly 2 years and don't find it to be delicate at all. I don't baby my bags but also don't spray perfume on it and definitely gotten a few drizzles on it, I just wipe it dry immediate with soft tissues. So far no stains or scratches.
The only smooth calfskin bag I am still impressed with is the Givenchy Antigona! I used it daily for work, rain or shine and there are literally no marks on it at all. The other brands should find out how Givenchy did it 😅 btw I love this Triomphe too!! Thank you for the review xoxoxo
Excellent review, thank you! I haven’t experienced issues with perfumes on any of my bags so this is good to know for awareness. It is widely known that heritage leathers particularly the shiny box calf are prone to scratching easily but these blend in as the leather patinas over time. I have owned 2 classic bags from Celine (the Triomphe predecessor) and I am yet to be disappointed. I’m now thinking of adding this exact Triomphe too. I hope you enjoy your stunning bag x

Im eye candying this bag. Its been in my cart for two weeks now. Did you try conditioning it to remove the stain? Or asking your celine sa to clean it?
I used to have this bag in pink (the Phoebe Philo version back then). It was beautiful and could fit A LOT. But I would not repurchase it as I found it to not be convenient for my lifestyle (needed both hands to close, for example, etc...). GORGEOUS nonetheless!
Gentle fluidity is one of my most complimented fragrance. I also heard that the purple juice smells different from the original colored juice(brown) I have the brown juice and it packs a good punch
The Celine bag is much higher quality leather than that YSL bag you held up. You would expect that alcohol would be damaging to smooth leather. What a shame!
Congrats on your new Dior Saddle bag! I recently purchased the same bag in the same color in Hawaii. A lot of luxury goods are priced 10-15% lower in Hawaii, so I got mine for $3,700 and with the lower Hawaii sales tax of 4.5%. If you can't buy your bag in Europe, then the next best thing is to buy it in Hawaii. I am loving my Latte Saddle! So far no color transfer and looks so chic! I like wearing it old school style which is on my shoulder.

Yes I agree with you... MFK GFG did not wow me! I actually now wear it as an everyday scent since it is so soft/light ,and doesn't seem to project long enough IMO. I certainly won't be rebuying it once it finishes.
100% agree with you sis! I fell in love with La Capitale at first sniff and it became my signature scent. I already bought a backup bottle 😅 And I had the exact same reaction to MFK GFG - I was unimpressed with that one. It’s nice but definitely did not wow me. I’ve had it for several months now and barely reach for it and when I do, I layer it with something else. Now I am soo eager to try Black Tie and Mango Kiss!
You articulated my feelings about these scents perfectly well. GFG isn't one I will repurchase when it finishes, the others I totally see myself repurchasing. I think we have similar taste too 😉
