The "Weird Tree" slowly moves from that passage to the passage you came from by the time you kill the boss in this area, and trick you into going a different route where there are more dangerous enemies, it used to be more effective back on the original version of the game as the bosses would not give you Homeward bone every time you kill them, like now.
That's interesting enough information to actually be mentioned in the next episode of the series. It's not even in the main article at the wiki, only some people mentioned it in the comments.
Ouch. On my first playthrough, I got cursed in the depths, and it was already painful by itself. But hey, we never know, I haven't been to ash lake in years, it's possible I may get cursed there, that will be fun!
Even after obtaining the means to warp between bonfires, not all of them are accessible through warping (something that changed later I think). The shortcuts as actual traversal means in a hostile world is what makes the worldmap so memorable. I have a way harder time remebering how areas are relative to each other in later games in the series.
It did indeed change later. I think the fact they're called "shortcuts" might have primed future soulslike developers to design them as such (specially with the fast travel of later games). But as I think I said in the video, they are not only shortcuts here, but as you said, a means to pick at two parts of the string of world navigation and press them together. Later games have the world be way less of a whole, and more just bits and pieces organized linearly, which is a shame.
hfuhd brigado cara, vivo com coisas em inglês desde bem novo, então acabei pegando, ainda mais que eu gostava muito do youtube gringo da época lá de 2010, daí foi mais fácil
Hey, I will talk with the creator to see how these save files interact with the demo version of the game. If he gives the go-ahead, then sure, I'll put them on dropbox or something.
The way I see it, the mountain missions build rapport with the CBDC agents (now called G.I.s) who in SF1 were just NPC-like dudes in yellow suits. Important for the plot later.
I could swear I answered this comment when i hearted it, but anyway, that's a great point, actually! Fills up a blank that I had in my head for the story. Thanks!
Thanks, man! I was wondering if anybody cared lol. It's been a while since I last made an SF2 video, but if there are people appreciating it I might just have to get back to it then.
It's this one. I have to censor the videos for youtube, but check out the link I posted in the first episode of this series for more info about the game
Oh, I am using the Duckstation emulator with upscaled textures, so technically this is ps1. IIRC the game is available on the ps4/ps5 through playstation plus, but i have never heard of a ps3 version.
Add some sarcasm rather than reference there's more ways to name your vids like buck gets scammed but worth it *I'm not good at making examples but you'll see what I mean if you understand the thing behind what I was saying
Another tip when there's no bed or free healing you could always heal yourself with your mana since it auto regenerates whenever you walk tho you have to make sure you have enough mana from fights since you'll need it in boss fights
Oh, i know. RPG maker works with a "mp regeneration" parameter, so if a character heals mp inside fights, they heal mp outside them as well. By the way, I appreciate the comment! But I would like not receiving tips about how to actually play/do well in the game until I reach the end of this build as I'm trying to discover the gamr by myself. After that, feel free to tell me anything I missed and I might go back and check on it.
Hello everyone. Unfortunately, my computer stopped working a few days ago, so there won't be any episodes until I can get it fixed, which might take a long time. Sorry!
You mean whether I'm going to play the full demo? In that case, fuck yeah, I will! Otherwise, I'm not sure what you're asking. Do YOU have a demo you want me to play? Depending on what it is, I'll play it as well.
@@MorshTalon the reason im asking is when i play the demo game, the story ends by killing portal demon...but when i watch your 6th video it eill enter the yarden village...so did you play the full game. not demo??please answer,,
@@MorshTalon there's not much spoilers there I mean unless you ask the developer tho he doesn't tell much at all tho he gave me some hints on what will or won't happen there's also a Christmas parody it's pretty good
Lol don't worry too much about the titles, they're just supposed to be puns on the names of other games (there were a few references to orcs and half-orcs through the video so that was enough for me)
You mean the title screen? If so, just press X to open the menu in-game, then choose the "End Game" option (it is at the third row, below "Quest - Formation - Options - Save", so you have to scroll down from there. If you mean the main menu with these options, just press the X key! (Which is Y on an xbox controller and Triangle on a PlayStation controller)
