@@ajfocus Ok cheers 👍 I have to have another look because sometimes it feels loose and sometimes it just creaks... There also seems to be some seat foam on the rear driver's side floor mat...
I am face lifting my mk6 fiestas dash and i will also have to change my door mirrors as the pre facelift fiestas have different plug shape so when you do buy the door looms make sure you get the correct looms and i will be removing the everything off the doors and while the door is stripped i will color match the handles and put sound deadening on the inside
Hey I've got on ford fiesta mk6 all gears work perfely fine apart from reverse it will not go in reverse at all and yesterday while my my mum was driving the engine was running at the lights when at dead stop I could smell a burning smell coming from somewhere any ideas
I'm trying to change my car glow plugs Ford Fiasta 2011 it wont start at all, I took it to too many garages no one knows what is wrong with it, the AA says the glow plugs need to be replaced and no garages willing to do that any advice thanks
Weird that no garages want Todo the job even though that's the whole point of a garage lol 😂 my advice is of you can attempt it try it soak them for a few days with brake cleaner or something strong to soak through the glow plugs. I soaked mine everyday for 4 days. In the morning, afternoon and night I soaked them. End of the week I ran the car got it hot came back let it cool slightly and then attempted to crack them off... Incredibly slowly though if you feel it's not going to budge move on to the next one. And soak that one again. Very slowly turn them you will hear cracking because that's the carbon built up. But if you hear or feel it's something else then stop because you can snap them off in the engine block. Bit of a git to get out. Hope it helps you bud good luck 🤞
I'd love to see a how to video of this man, been searching AGES for one. I've got two grilles for a mk6 sitting here to try. Just not confident in my approach at some points if I tried it. Par two coming soon?
Yeah there's a full feature video coming soon. It will be mixed into a super longer episode. And later in the year into a separate episode. I will get posting this video soon. Stay tuned
Thanks for the comment. Nice to meet another fellow Mk6 owner. Glad you enjoyed the scenery shots spent a good few hours getting them just right 👌 I be sure to check out your video. Subscribe if you wish to or be sure to follow my socials Instagram or FB at AJFocus
May want to check those rear dampers are not sitting on the bumps stops once car back the ground, those bump stops are for a standard height damper not a shorten/lowered damper setup. I know ford use to sell an eibach lower spring kit that came with shorter bump stops to suit lowering springs, but they would sell them separate only as a kit with springs unfortunately.
Fair play buddy it's not easy on ur own I done mine last week too we're u get the back transmission engine mount that's a good heavy duty one im looking for one I whent true three off them standard ones 😢
