Back when vivid was good, interactive and free! Now it's all drones and no lights! You have to move to a different area now or pay just to get a good glimpse! 😭😭 Sydney has become huge!

I get that it’s nice to see the city lit up, but it was an absolutely stupid af decision to change that originally perfect angle so often and at important moments. Really, really poor and unnecessary editing.
It's too bad someone felt the need to switch from a perfect view of the display with the main event taking up the whole screen with the black sky as a backdrop, basically the show exactly as it was meant to be seen, to aerial footage from much further away with the city lights in the background where it's practically impossible to make out the drones. It just doesn't make any sense
Last ninght, 11/6/23, We were exciting to go to Sydney city to see Vivid. We were very patient but there were no music, no drones. The movies on Opera house were like old documents. Nothing was interested. A lot of disappointed people had to leave just after 15 minutes. Misleading info from show organiser. Foods were overpriced, too expensive. Bad experience!

Spectacular, loved the cosmic & nature inspired theme, what a technological feat & music works well with it thanks! Such a magical night & you couldn't ask for a more picturesque backdrop. Well done to everyone involved.
