youtube songster My father (1903-83) played ukulele and tenor banjo. I was exposed to homemade music from an early age back in the 1940s. My desire is to pass the idea of homemade music along to the next generation or two.

Beautiful mate, adding it to my folk playlist for work, I've been playing this stuff over the loudspeaker of a night and people are loving it. Old fellas like you give young fellas like me faith- the important kind- faith in my fellow human beings.
Good song and finger bending! Could you play your original "Cat in the Hamper"? PS: You missed a verse. It comes right after the first verse and it goes: We pay our taxes, we pay our dues We do as we are told But the government's slick, so don't get sick And for God's sake don't get old
The 60s and 70s were a time when musicians dared to sing protest songs. Since then, they have become a rarity. We need more folks like this to try and open some eyes of the younger generation. Thanks for sharing. Cheers
