Not a Ford Fan but these Bull Nose and Brick Nose Trucks are the HOT truck build now because they are last of the affordable Classic Trucks. It's not turning over after you turn it off because your alternator is bad and it's not charging the battery as it runs and it's running the battery down.
@@1776_Garage It's almost gotta be the Alternator unless you have a short to ground somewhere that's draining the battery and if that's the case good luck finding it, I'm motorcycle tech by trade that specializes in electrical systems, and although it could be either I'd bet on it being the Alternator.
@@1776_Garage Let me know, if it tests good then you have a short to ground somewhere and track those down can be a bitch because it could literally be anything even if it doesn't have to do with the charging system, it could be something that runs off of something else that connected to something that's hooked into the charging system. I once had a short to ground because a wire was freyed inside a speedo. took me DAYS to find that.
I’ve never seen a 85 with a third brake light. The 85’s didn’t have any additional rear brake light and the 87 had the third brake light in the spoiler..
@@1776_Garagejust fill a water bottle half full of brake fluid. Run a little rubber line down to it and up to the bleeder. Unscrew the bleeder so fluid can pass through. Go pump the brakes til bubbles stop coming out and it’s just fluid then tighten bleeder and move to next wheel.
Yes, IROC was a option package of the z28 from 85-87. Starting with 88 it became its own stand alone model and became the top dog. This car, an 86 was detuned (somewhat) from the 85 model due to government emission requirements and an 86 is easily identified by the high mounted center brake light. We called those Cyclopes lights back in the 80s. I bought my first third gen in 1986 when I was 21 and have owned three others over the years. Currently have a 85 IROC (check out my videos of it) that was Ls swapped. If I can be of help don’t hesitate to send a message.
