Mr. John, I'm having some issues with the shops Bartec tool. The Pro Series Bartec USA tech 300pro is telling me to go on a test drive inoder to get the reading of the TPMS, so they can commuicate. *Inflate tires to correct pressure. *Apply parking brake. *Press and hold the TPMS button. The MIL will flash. *Release parking brake. *Drive vehicle. Note: If the MIL does not blink a few the relearn procedure did not take, Repeat procedure. Note: the relearn process requires about 30 minutes of cumulative drive at speeds between 30-60 mph. The Bartec is not registering to go to these steps, I'm a tech that works in the shop and I can't seem to figure out this device. Do you have any tips?
Hello Mike, Sorry for the late response. The RU-vid notification on our channel was switched off for some reason and just now realising that and catching up on comments and questions. I wasn't able to recreate the problem you described so I can't give you a quick answer. You should go to www.bartecusa.com/ or call them on (866) 407-8767 and they should be able to solve your problem. I hope this helps you, John
I can not recommend the Autoinform enough, an excellent training event for every invested garage. And we look forward to meeting Steve & Conor from eighty9 motors there 👍
The Schaeffler Repxpert tea break training seminars are excellent & a brilliant idea around lunchtime, allowing everyone the opportunity to squeeze them into a busy schedule. A big thumbs up from Kennedy’s garage👍👍👍
Glad to see you getting back to work again. Keeping our customers happy is what we strive for as well at our shop. Excellent that you stressed that point.
Great Interview Des, Wishing yourself, and The Irish Independent Garage Sector all the best in the coming days and weeks. Agree with you 100% on the common sense part, Let's all keep it clever together ! Alan
