I am Mari Virra and I have already been doing bead weaving for 7 years. I adore my hobby and everyday I am improving my skills. I have started this channel to share my numerous knowledges created for all of these years.
Here you can find tutorials, author's seed bead jewelry and material for loomed bracelet stitch. Bead weaving is one of my favourite things to do and I hope my channel will become one of the recourses of your inspiration. Thank you!
I was once a craft director at a summer camp ….. tasked with “clearing out”. A backlog of craft supplies. Found these loom type things. That I now know are used for this type of thing. About fifty of them. That I threw away. Because I couldn’t figure out what they were They hadn’t been used in decades. But still feel bad about it
I used to be friends with a gal of Native American descent and she taught me some basics about beading. It was a very soothing and fun craft, if a little hard to wrap the head around at first. We may not talk anymore but every time i see a beading video, i think of her. Hope she's doing well and still finding joy in her cultural craft.
Where do people get these perfect beads? Or is it like how it happens with cars that don't pass the safety inspections and are sent to Mexico? 'Cause all the beads I can find look like sh*t.
