It’s not about the destination, it’s about the journey!
The companies could eliminate most of this stuff IF they even knew what QA stood for. If I owned a RV manufacturing company I would make sure that the units produced there was some pride and skill put into them. I guess now with this companies it just will ok it rolls sent it out the door! Pathetic!!
i saw Myles guy showing off a cheap rv for us to buy on you tube today. he opened up cabinet door gently and IT FELL OFF. lol. he salesman talks all good about these cheap ass trailers. lol
Well-We found out first hand and $15,000 later that a brand new Newmar can be just as rotten as any other motorhome -We thought we were buying quality-NOPE -Get an inspection on any NEW motorhome including All NEWMAR 🤷♀️👍🤯
Absolutely !! I don't bring my own electricity, propane or batteries ! I may from time to time provide a pressure regulator while testing water systems. The idea of an Inspector providing anything other than a full detailed inspection is ludicrous !!! Some great finds !
A ton of weak and wet noodles are out there doing a disservice to our industry IMHO. Some should realize there's openings at Walmart to greet people 🙄😉
@@blueoxontherun9188 I don't bring doughnuts either ! Lol I bring the wrath if it's not in tip top shape ! Too many out there confusing partnership versus friendships !
You said it my friend! Some are definitely from the corporate world just duplicating what they've learned to get ahead, by kissing asses 🤣 having questionable knowledge using bribes as a cover up 😉 from that lack there of and their own insecuties
I have to say that even if the entire coach was flawless I would NEVER be able to get past the structural bow in the roof/wall structure. This unit needs to go back to Newmar for evaluation and repair BEFORE it is purchased by someone.
Sir you are not arrogant, these dealerships sell a unit for over $100,000 and they can’t provide you the basics to help seal the deal? Are they that F - ING stupid? If I was buying a RV from them and they couldn’t take care of my inspection team, i wouldn’t purchase from them..Actions speak louder than words, and if they are going to nickel and dime that ..well in my opinion that’s going to be the proverbial lceberg
I wonder how the dealership would respond if I told them that we need to have in the contract that we need full hookups and gas or diesel in the fuel tank for our inspectors and if they do not have it ready they will have to pay for my inspection from you guys?
Wait, you mean you don't bring tubes of sealant in case you see areas that need it while you're inspecting the roof? What kind of operation are you running over there?? 😂😅 Also, love the Flir One camera...we use ours for all sorts of things!
Exactly 💯 some inspectors are so weak, they let dealership walk all over them. They probably also hurry up with their inspection to not bother anyone 🙄
If a dealer spots a defect when they receive it, will the manufacturer pay for the repair? Is the issue that the selling dealer is not able to fix it so it is easier just to pass the problem to the buyer? So sad if someone buys this as it is.
Sadly dealers don't inspect units when it's delivered. I'm sure the manufacturer would pay to fix the issues but dealers just try to unload the units as I was told before
Bust for me. I do have a question. Do you approve how manufactures do the plumbing of rv's? Another inspector 90 petcent of the time finds faulty plumbing thru out the rv. They use the wrong clamps. Which ends up leaking vs residential plumbing.
There is no "code" for plumbing in the RV industry...we can only report facts if it is leaking 😉 Not my job, on my report, to comment on their manufacturing process and components. I am not a consultant for manufacturers 😉. Just someone who can report facts about structural issues or failed parts or components. After hours, you can ask my opinion 😉
You know it’s a bust for me! Still looking at fifth wheels. This reaffirm’s my decision brand new and junk! C4BO. You just saved a customer’s butt from a nightmare! Those grandkids are precious
I liked how Pierre was talking to that other guy, not me, ya that other guy. You both are such a positive thing for RV inspection companies. Glad your looking to add other excellent couples to your group. Will make getting a Blue Ox endorsed inspection easier no matter what part of the country someone might be in.
