I read the book in my late teens/early twenties, based on a recommendation from a friend. The book scared me. The mother(second Corrine), her parents and John Amos, were the threats.
@@AmbroseCadwell Yes, but they'd already have a player, so they'd be buying an additional box for a SINGLE movie which is silly. Not that hard of a concept.
@@Zenoff64 But if you have a region-free box you can buy the best release of any given film without needing to pay the slightest attention to regions. It's a no-brainer in the first instance.
It looks like they thankfully left the film grain in rather than AI denoise it into an ugly smudgefest like other 4K releases. Also Winona will always be my #1 crush.
I love Heathers. I've been enamored with it as a film, and it's story telling style since I was a little kid in the 80s. It's such a weird, funny, satirically fascinating film. I've bought it on everything from VHS to 4k. It is on my top 10 favorite films of all time. Such a great movie that still holds meaning even today.
Besides being a fantastic movie, its the single most fashionable movie ever made. Every single actor is just dripping with style. Rudy Dillon is an absolute genius. Shoulder pads need to come back.
This transfer and Blu ray (1080p) literally made me go from disliking it to loving the movie. Amazing how much can change with a great restoration and enhancement. I used to find it unwatchable due to poor picture and sound. It was so distracting from the otherwise brilliant script and performances. I strongly recommend this Blu ray.
It was a bit farcical tbh.. The organisation they based the antagonists on who picked the gangsters off in the film in real life were fairly sloppy and clumsy. Often Driven by blinding hatred and wanton malice which often proved to be their undoing. The depiction of them as some sort of unstoppable force was so ridiculous. It would've been controversial though given the bombing campaign happening at the time.
