i'm not sure if my alignment is bad or not, but I usually have to keep my steering wheel slightly off to the right (about 4 degrees) to drive straight. Can i fix that issue using the Chassis > Alignment & Tires > Clear Applied Offset option to fix this? Note: Right now, the Applied Offset value is at 3.7degree (I'm on my original tires, 2023 Model 3SR). Does this mean my alignment is off?
Yes, it did work. After about 10 minutes it gets quieter. Thn after you exit, the car it takes about 1-3minutes for it to completely turm off all.fans, now no noise. I will make another video later to show it after purge.
Enjoyed the comparisons between the 3. In defense of the S1 lights, there are variations and you had bought the weakest one, H11. I've got the S1 H13 9008s which are a lot brighter than the H11s you bought and they're WAAAAY brighter than the halogens that were in it. That's an important distinction between all these lights, there are variations of each one so take that into consideration. 🤘😁🤘
Hi 👋 I already erase the crash data from module with “AIRBAG CAN SERVICE TOOL”everything is green on service mode except the RCM that is in yellow it says RCM_a003_warningIndicator - Alert Log Description Set Condition The restraint system may not function as designed. Clear Condition The restraint control module no longer detects an issue with the safety system. If I go to my notifications it only shows one code and it is RCM_a050
Bro. In the video, when you say tires must be aligned, do you mean taking it to mechanic to get them aligned and then do the alignment on the screen ? Or do you mean align the tires using steering wheel and touching the screen options ?
Would this work if I’m getting the VCFRONT_a447 fault? It’s 113 degrees out here and my Tesla is blowing hot air only. The AC isn’t blowing cold anymore
Once you installed the new rcm, did it ever give unavailable status at any point of time with gray color? I want to buy toolbox but not sure if the new rcm is faulty.
@@TeslaFanz I tried it with both (new and old) module, but it keeps saying unavailable with gray color. I bolted them in, with hand tight force. LV_State: off Current: 0
I’m not unfortunately. Question, I have a 2018 model x. Changed pyro fuse for both the HV and LV batteries. Screen turns on but no start. Says “car off”. How can I put it into gear? Got the car off auction, never replaced the lvl battery because I charged it up. What would you think is the possible reason it doesn’t want to start? Thank you!
@TeslaFanz Mechanic disconnected the rear seat belt and connected the 12V battery (his mistake). Now the SRS light is on and won't go off. What to do? The car has not been in an accident. The car was in Service mode and still is in it.
Thanks a lot. I fixed it after following your instructions. I didn't go to the Tesla Collision Centers as Tesla requested. save me more than $8000 which Third-Party Centers quoted. only paid "American Tire" $165 for alignment
Where do I find the software? What cable are you using to connect to laptop ? My service mode is not loading just the spinning circle. Also at the bottom it says GTW Locked! Last time car was software updated was in October 2023. The car is showing it’s downloading another update but it’s stuck at 100% not completing download it’s like frozen ? You think I am wasting my time just get new VCfront ?
If it's locked from wreck, then try pressing brake and holding turn signal to the right for 8 seconds. If it does not unlock, wait overnight for oftware update, my update also was stuck at %100 for a while. However in the end mine did not unlock, had to get a new vc front on ebay. Also you could try unplugging the main wire harness under hood from.vc front it's on the outside of housing, it wouldn't hurt.
I have a model 3 that’s also damaged but VCfront working and everything working. You think I could take it out and put in my model Y would it work they both look the same but have not checked model numbers because I would have to take it out to do that. Would I have to reprogram or should start working without programming?
Hi thanks for your videos really helpful appreciate! Do you have to have the airbag crash module installed for the car to start? I tried to get the car going but cannot get into service mode there is a spinning circle but nothing loading. Low voltage Battery is fine also pyro has been replaced
Why did you change the vcfront? I have a problem on my Tesla model 3, the cameras, autopilot and the navigation have stopped working, Tesla have said its the car computer that needs replacing, but another person on a forum advised me it could be the VCFRONT, do you have any ideas?
like your video- Can i check with you , I ve not done any of the things you mentioned yet, but i bought a copart insurance car (NOT Driving/running) . seatbelts and curtains airbags and radiator damage, sorted the radiator , but 2 weeks before i get airbags back. My question is my screen in service mode , just keep spinning -im connect to my wifi via home and it shows software update available but just doesnt download so i cannot download firmware - do i need to change the VRfront unit or should i get the "toolbox" and do a software update ( will it work) or should i do VCfront crash data rest via toolbox. my car is a MOdel 3 on a Dec 2022. You help appreciated
Mine did same thing, waych my video on crashed vc front. I had to replace my vc front, toolbox did not work. After vc front replaced, you can clear post load shed using the service mode without toolbox.
because i change radiator and top up system , its contiouous sound like the pump making a sound all the time . did you have the same problem . the computer screen also switched off. end disconnect LV and HV connectors and than comes back on ... driving me nuts. lol
@@TeslaFanz Thanks! I meant the owner auth. To be fair I got in and sorted but now the car is not connecting to the Tesla servers. Tesla do know its a salvage so it could be a blacklist on the vin. Any idea on if this can be resolved?
Hi, my friend, who lives in Southeast Asia, bought and imported a 2022 Model Y from China. However, the original never finished transferring the account to her. Is there a way to remove the original account on the car and use her email as the owner? Thank you.
I got excited for you!! All Green, no way lol My model x driver airbag went off without an accident and Tesla won’t help. I’m trying figure out what i need ro to do. Your video helps so thanks!
when the main battery reaches 0%, its not even dead, ive driven on 0 for like 5 km before because if you have no power limit (motor output limit) the battery likely has a couple more km in it.
Hello nice video. My model 3 shows red. I’ve changed 4 pyro fuses but still shows red. Do you happen to know what can be wrong. Any information would help. Thank you
Any updates on this ? Similar situation here. Got a model y from the auction, changed the fuse, and using toolbox was able to clear the VCfront but the pyro fuse is still marked in red with an error code HVP_w201_PyroMiaFault. I bought second fuse thinking that maybe it’s a bad one, changed it again and still the same error message . Is there some kind of reset or update that is required after changing the pyro fuse? Thank you in advance for any tips or help.
