I've only owned manual cars and its simply just true that if your daily driving a vehicle then auto makes a lot of sense. Especially if your only going for speed, a good tune and a computer will always be faster than a person.
Damn I was looking to buy one of these next year and couldn’t decide between the auto or manual( I can’t drive manual, don’t kw how) so ig I’m just gonna get the auto 🤷♂️
ive had both manual and auto Z's... The auto does not drive at all or provide the amount of fun a manual does... that being said, enjoy whatever you like but just know... if u learn manual... the manual Z definitely brings out more smiles per miles.
Of course, I love driving me 03 350z to work. It sure does have a lot of miles on it too (213k) but I don’t care, ima be driving that until she blows up.
Paddle shifting is in no way shape or form manual mode. It is “request” mode where you bow at the knee yielding your man card and the car will decide your fate You are a slave to the automatic transmission, you are nothing to the transmission but just another ass in the seat. The transmission laughs in your face as you beg for a downshift. The Nissan engine weeps for you, dripping oil from every gasket and orifice wishing you would’ve just gotten a manual gearbox
@@wesleylayer8847 yes brooo I have so much fun with the auto, and it still has the slap manual so you can still experience downshifting, I live and San Diego so there is a lot of stop and go traffic so it’s nice to not have a cramped leg, I’m from Atlanta and definitely wouldn’t recommend a manual 🤣
@@wesleylayer8847 If your in a high traffic area like Atlanta then an auto Z in my opinion would be the order of the day. Manuals are fun because I had a manual 98 Eclipse GS but it becomes more like masturbation going from one corner light to the next. I live in Nyc I know. Also that clutch in high traffic areas will burn out quicker too. Being that you live in Atlanta I would check out a place called Z Motorsports located in Carrolton, Georgia. It is one of the top performance shops for the Z line. You could also ask them yourself about that too.
don't be ashamed of your automatic Z. be ashamed that you follow the trend or other peoples do that you don't like and calling other automatic transmission not fun (so called manual drivers) seriously, you could never shift faster than a computer and that what makes automatic fast. without huge power gaps, your car is definitely faster.
It’s about preferences. You can still drift with an auto transmission just by doing manual mode. Thats true you guys do have more control of hp but also risking it at the same time. I rather drive auto on busy streets and use manual mode to street race against other cars. As long we all rocking Z thats all that matters.
For a fun car I prefer a manual, but for my daily I prefer an automatic. That being said, drive whatever you enjoy the most. Nothing wrong with an automatic.
Currently saving for a Z34 to replace the daily G37, unfortunately with my new verve damage and bulging disc the automatic is the only version I can safely own (not that I'll complain because the 7AT is siiiiick!)
You should post more of the Z. Your other content doesn’t get the views like the Z does. It’s also pretty rare to see an automatic turbo 350Z so you’ll stand out more.
