@@pantherspost personally I like Plumber better but we cut him and he showed so much more then little Bryce. I know Dalton would be better than Bryce he proved that last year in one game, with the same team. So please this excuse with the o line and receiver needs to just stop it is old and just not true.
If our offensive line holds and does not get hurt we win this game. I feel it would be a one-score differential because the defense is a bit questionable
Nah, David Newton gets no more passes. He ran out a long time ago. Failed Nascar writer who espn had to dump somewhere years ago. They figured they'd stick him somewhere with a team nobody cares about or follows. Sorry, I loathe that guy.
Save this comment, Panthers are not doing crap. Bryce will be out of the league in two years. Hopefully the "Owner" will get smart and move the team to The Yukon Territory because the people there give more of a damn about the Panthers than the people in North Carolina. Wish they had never put the franchise in North Carolina. It has been embarrassing year over year to say the least. I don't see it changing under this owner. The smell is going to get really BAD!
I met David Newton on the way to a Tampa game in 2015 he was very kind with his time and talking ball I appreciated that a lot as a panthers fan since I have been a kid it meant the world to be able to just hear him talk about the panthers direction, Cam it was just real down to earth of him that means a lot
Exactly, sure he asked some questions that a lot of people won’t I think that’s because he’s not afraid of losing privileges because he works the worldwide leader
@@pantherspost I thought the same thing it didn’t feel like his questions because he actually was pretty insightful and seemed to generally like the team so I never got that negative vibe that he seems to rub on some but it also could be maybe he’s just a different dude idk not for me to judge he always has done a good job in my opinion I’m sure it’s not easy working for the NFL or Disney for that fact so taking even a few minutes for a fan is absolutely commendable
jameis winston is not an nfl qb. But above all else, I am a bigger bama fan than anything else..roll tide. and of course, I am rooting for Bryce Young to succeed. And yes, i hated the panthers when Newton was their qb b/c I hate auburn..but go panthers!
Bryce young is the most accurate QB the panthers have ever had. If you say Jimmy clausen is even close to bryce.. then you watch football but you don't understand it.
He is among the most annoying people. I don’t even think it’s his fault. I think Troy and Buck are part of it. They would fall over him on the broadcast.
17 seconds is crazy. As far as this matchup goes we gotta start fast. Get the crown deflated. Would rather start on defense because of this. Second is the offense has to move the ball. We probably won’t need more than 20-ish points to win but we gotta do better in time of possession than last season so the defense gets enough rest. Third is that we can’t turn the ball over and limit penalties. I think if we fall back on the defense and the offense just does its job we will get the W. Also can’t wait to see Jatavion sanders start with the injuries! I wanted him to start over Thomas and tremble either way.
IMO, with ALL things considered, Bryce didn't look bad in his rookie season. I think he showed a lot of potential! He definitely needs to show improvement, but that goes for the whole team, including coaches and management!... Time will tell if he can be great, but I'm not even close to moving on yet. KEEP POUNDING!
It seems like Tepper finally kept his mouth shut, nice moves by Morgan and canales Morgan is the perfect guy to look for linebacker talent, he played with our best linebackers in witherspoon and was part of an amazing defense with minter, peppers, Rucker and Jenkins I wouldn’t worry much about about our corners because we still need work there, I would just run the ball and keep it close enough for the Ws On the other hand, if we get burn a lot this year will show us how many points Bryce can score, and if he can’t do it … pack the bags and trade
Not saying anything, but Jack Plummer improved each preseason game he played. He got the size and a little mobility. Almost looked like a poor man's Justin Herbert against the bills. If he can sneak through the practice squad all year, might be holding something come next season
Bryce gets one more year unless he just completely shits the bed this season. I've been critical of the pick ever since it was made but I pray he proves me wrong
Yo! I've been a Carolina Panthers Fan when the NFL announced Carolina as an expansion team... Sight unseen. Bryce Young reminds of Kerry Collins without the off the the field issues. High football football IQ, great anticipation and poised. I wasn't a fan of the pick last year, however, I watched highlights of B. Young while he was at Bama. I'm confident we've got "the guy". Like the content brother. Just one thing…. Don’t make BY into something he’s not. Kyler Murray is not smaller than BY. At their Combine measuring, KM & BY were exactly the same height- 5-10 1/8. Murray weighed 207, Young weighed 204. Young was seen pounding water to get that high. Reports out of Bama showed BY mostly PLAYED around 185-190. Latest report I’ve seen shows KM playing around 197. So… they’re almost identical. If anything, KM is a smidgin bigger than BY. None of this would make any difference, except for you making a point that KM was smaller. Not sure what the intent was, … but.??
I agree, Phill... IF that were the route we go, this upcoming qb class just isn't it. If we do it, we need to at least time it correctly. But I'm not thinking that way yet.
Man, this team is a head scratcher. I love them, but its hard for me to get excited each year now after the last few years. Im going to reserve my judgement until Week 3-4. It sounds so lame to say, but if we can reach 6-7 wins, i will be excited for next year.
Bro, anybody that says they'd take Jimmy Clausen over Bryce, never truly saw Clausen play. I'm disappointed someone would feel that way. I wanted Stroud over Bryce and still have questions, but I'll be damned if I'd take Clausen!
@pantherspost I wanted Stroud but I have to admit if our oline wasn't decimated we probably would have been a 7 win team. This oline has the potential to be real good our offense could surprise teams this year
