One of my favorite songs ever! I think most women want to feel that some guy feels that way about them. To feel they're making a noticeable,positive difference in someone's life and that she's enough and he's content.

I don't remember if this was the year we saw him but WOW was he a great performer!!! I always really enjoy seeing someone give a performance which brings the audience (like me) back in time to their youth!!!!
Davyjones is and was a great singer, dancer, performer and one of the best Monkees that move me to laughing to crying at the same time he has that much talent so that is why I think he is and was the only person who can entertain me the Way he does and I fall in love with him when I was 12and now I am 69yrs old so you can say that I have a crush on him and you be right but I still love Davy Thomas Jones and I am so sorry I missed the chance to meet him because he was a very cool person to meet

In 1971, Fox & Gimbel wrote this song for Davy Jones to sing in the Neil Simon comedy "Star Spangled Girl"... though it is best known from Jones's performance on the Brady Bunch. A year later Fox & Gimbel wrote their Grammy winning hit "Killing Me Softly" and a year after that they wrote "I Got A Name" for Jim Croce.
Davy was a really nice guy! I had the pleasure to play tennis with him in 1976 while staying in Palm Springs. He beat me 6-4, 6-1. He was a good player. Thanks for all the good memories, Davy!

I had the opportunity to see David Cassidy and Davy Jones in concert, on separate dates at the same venue. Similar acts T.V. stars with hit records, Davy passed the audition, need I say more.
Great to see my favorite Monkee, Davy singing one of my favorite tunes by them. Reminds me a bit of the time I saw them perform live while I was still in high school back in the ´80s. It was at Marriott's Great America Theme Park in the San Francisco Bay Area.
There will never be another Davy Jones. He truly was the most humble and incredible talent and person. Rest In Peace Davy. We all love you and miss you.
