$500 makes me hurt. In the U.S. these are non-existent unless it's a rebuilt one that's been imported. Wish there were some low to medium tier ones imported
Do guys change exhaust only just for the sound? I fitted a 3 inch from PPD to my colorado last weekend to match the tune I had done late last year. The tune dropped my 0-100 from 15.4 (stock) to 11.2 seconds. Just fitted the 3 inch over the weekend and did another 0-100. Its dropped down to 10.2 seconds. A significant increase in power! Now that's way more interesting to me then what it sounds like!
Yeah as a broke 17 year old back then I did buy it just for it to sound cool😂. Also I did buy it as well knowing it would give me a small performance boost.
Is it safe to drive it with out exhaust ?I like the sound with out the exhaust I was thinking to disconnect from back off the cat wat u think is it safe or it's going to Los power or dameg valve or turbo?
Technically it i's illegal to run the exhaust that short, plus I can't imagine on a smaller turbo diesel like that was that the next to no back pressure would be helping with the turbo spooling. But don't think it would cause any damage

Hey mate, local place in Port Pirie (south australia) did it up for us. It's pretty basic, just 2.5 inch pipe off the headers with a hotdog muffler and then dumps just behind the cab. Most exhaust places should be able to fab something up to similar specs for ya, and it shouldn't break the bank as well!
@@samul7482 Maybe made it a little bit faster but it's an old bus with nearly half a million k's on it so she's not going to fast either way. But yeah maybe made it a tad bit quicker
Hey mate honestly it isn't loud at all. Just gives the ute a nicer, deeper sound and she only really gets loud above 2.5k rpm. If your just cruising it isn't too much louder than stock, although you hear the turbo better with is a bonus🤙
Honestly it's really good. This isn't a crazy loud system as it's still got a muffler, but it gives the ute a bit of a nicer and deeper note. Plus you can hear the turbo better under acceleration and backing off. No droning or anything, the only time you really hear it is when you rev it out past 2 grand, and even then it's not crazy loud
