How many households do you think have a sandblasting station? lol that’s something to do if you want to customize it but not an answer for its poor paint/design
Hinges were bent and the locking hinge is junk. Bought mine for $139 at Walmart, Amazon wanted $236. After straightening the hinges, installing flat washers and tightening everything it was ready to use. Still looking for grease cups that fit.
The tin foil cups for the grease catcher? Those are like $5 for a pack of 10 at Walmart. The Amazon price is resellers, which aint a bad idea for the unsuspecting buyer lol
It is/was a Walmart exclusive product. I think they got a bunch of returns on the 22" griddle version and considered them defective and pulled them off their site. It took me 3x to purchase the 22" griddle version (in store and from the Walmart website) before I got one that wasn't bent or wonky in some way. Now that I have one that I consider better than perfect, it can ace every single thing I throw at it, and clean up takes less than a minute. I hope they tweak the manufacturing issues and re-release it. It's amazing and it will be with me on EVERY adventure!
One thing to not on the husky, of the latches break, you can walk into almost any HD and get a new one covered under warranty. I’ve had to do that once. I have 3 and so does my buddy. We use them for camping. I wish they would bring back the green ones, as I agree that the red is too much. But you can’t beat the price or functionality of the Husky.
I will be sure to show you how I use my Kleenex is 4K. 😎 A lot of things in EDC is redundancy. I’d rather have it and not use it than need it and not have it. The item I probably use the least is the bit kit for the Leatherman.
Eeeh #1 complaint from everyone is “it’s heavy” try lugging around a 2 burner stove with the griddle top , combined weight is about 80 pounds , yea I’ll take the 25 pounds over that. #2 complaint is the aluminum coated griddle top . Yes they went with aluminum, aluminum hold heat and dissipates well . If it was made of any other material we would be back at #1 complaint “weight” I do agree hinges could be better . As for the location to the tank adapter being in a better location , but to keep cost down it’s the same platform used on the 20 inch camping griddle. So pick and choose price or accessibility. Overall yes paint chipping is gonna happen . It comes with the territory. Once again for the price and what you get you can’t beat it . I’m actually looking into buying the 14 inch with the burner instead of the jet boil. I’ll spend the same amount of money as buying the jet boil but get way more out of the 20 inch griddle and the 14 inch combo !!!
-Using the lodge griddle/grill and a Coleman two burner, it’s a combined weight of 18 lbs. still lighter than the Blackstone. -Coated aluminum doesn’t have the longevity of other material. - As a consumer, it’s not our job to find excuses such as “to keep cost down”. - Why are you okay with paint chipping lol? In what instance should you buy something, the paint chips and you say out loud “eh comes with the territory” that’s weird lol - Jetboil and this Blackstone are two vastly different products with different purposes. I don’t know, this read like a Blackstone rep is using a burner account 😅
Just bought this and im using it to Alex Legends. Works super great as i can bind my abilities and heals on the side panel. So works good for FPS Battle Royal as well. At least for me 😊
Great review! Curious after you've used this a few times if you are glad you went with the side burner option or would rather have the extra space of the adventure ready version that is just the griddle?? I plan on buying one but cannot decide if the burner or extra cook space is better.
I personally prefer it with the side burner for quicker cooking on a pan if needed. Boiling water is just faster with a burner than slapping a pot on the griddle. It’s usually myself and my gf camping. If you have a larger family, the full size griddle might be a better option! Thanks for watching ❤️
If u drink coffee or like gravies or stews while camping than the burner is the way to go. It would just take to long to heat up the griddle and a pot of water. I'm picking up mine tomorrow
I've had mine since March. My wife got it for me for my birthday. I love this griddle and I especially love that it is portable. However after 2 weeks of use the cheap hollow plastic handle broke and the locking hinges are weak and fall apart. I went to home depot and bought a metal upgraded door handle to replace there cheap plastic one that broke on me, I will eventually fix the locking hinge. Lots of the nuts and bolts in this thing become lose and fall out quickly so make sure to tighten them periodically
I have had mine for the last couple months. I live full time in a small RV. Cook breakfast every day and lunch or dinner 2 o 3 times a week. Works flawlessly every.single.time.
Thanks for the great review! I've had this sitting in my cart for a month and a half, and haven't been able to pull the trigger. Based on your review, I'll probably wait for an updated version. My tried and true Coleman 2 burner will have to hold me down a little bit longer.
i have a problem with the circle button top right, it is lagging and presses by itself, i cant watch a video without my hand pressing that button, and the thing is i cant remap it from razer synapes because it tells me (this key cannot be remapped) for some reason every key is remapped except the one i have a problem with. i just want it disabled ):
when using the back button on the mouse, do you press it with your thumb tip or thumb joint? I'm trying to find a mouse like the g603 that has 2 top buttons not 1.
I'm still using this deskmat, i have absolutely no issues playing fast-response games like CSGO and now CS2, Apex and EFT, feels very good to play on. I guess in the end its personal preference and what glides you have on your mouse.
Does anyone know why my keyboard suddenly will have lag or start pressing random keys? while writing it will suddenly press start to type stuff like "tyyyyypiiing" or while gaming it will hold in "D" key or similar for a few seconds. Its really annoying and hope i don't have to RMA it... tried resetting it and install the armory app
The mousewheel on this thing is absolutely horrendous with constant ghost inputs. When you try to scroll down it intermittently scrolls up too, and vice versa. Avoid steelseries mice at all costs
i want grips i can replace every now and then for hygiene reasons. i've used hotlines so far but i don't like the rubber texture that soaks in all the hand grease over time, and that's very hard to clean without peeling off all the rubber. any recommendations?
