My volumn is acting up guys can you tell me what was said. Anyhow I think I only need 200 for my purpose. Yes being a big eye I also register for children and prenatal. Hello senior women don't need that but I mean who know what might happen in the future.

If I was in a class and found out the instructor was checking their phone during class, they would never see me again and I would put a negative review on Yelp about them. That is so against anything dealing with yoga.

LOL I hear you... well, you can use that energy to inspire you to create more valuable posts that describe what yoga means to you, below the surface. I think it's important to highlight this, because many people avoid yoga because they think they have to look like these photos on social media which is obviously not the case.

Thank you so much for sharing your tips. Your videos are so helpful. I have a question about pricing online zoom classes, which might be irrelevant to this video. But, what do you think about pricing zoom lives classes a lot lower than in-studios ones? Seems like a lot of yoga studios do that. Also, when pricing classes, would you compare your prices with other studios nearby or trust your own intuition? Any tips would be greatly appreciated! 🙏🏻😊🙏🏻
@buildyouryogabiz
@buildyouryogabiz Год назад
Hey love, thank you so much for your kind words. Great question regarding pricing virtual zoom classes versus in-person classes. Honestly, it's up to you. For example, you may have a desire to build out a virtual studio with perks such as monthly Zoom calls, workshops, meditation, etc. You can charge more when you have a clear idea of exactly what you are offering and are able to communicate the value of that to your students. Perhaps the online format is even *MORE* valuable than in-person since people don't have to leave home? So it really depends on yor perspective and how well you articulate your angle to your prospective students. You can also do a poll on social media with a few different price brackets to see what people are willing to pay for an online class. And yes, I always recommend scanning your area and local studios to see the going rate, and still, you get to choose your 'number' based on what feels right to you for your energy and time. It's kind of like a blend between knowing what's out there and trusting your intuition. And just know, nothing is set in stone and you can always change and experiment with your rates. Choose a number that feels exciting to you, and trust that the students who know your value will show up! I hope this serves you :)

Thank you so so much for your genuine tips and help! I’m so thankful and lucky to have found your channel! 🙏🏻🥰💗

Once you write out your list of ideas, go back and write the first small step for each one then do that small step. It may be checking out a book from the library, asking a friend for help, or looking up something online. It may be just telling a few friends that you are thinking of doing this great idea someday. They may have encouragement or insight for helping you manifest your idea 🙂❤️🧘‍♀️

how soon into your teaching career would you recommend successfully hosing a retreat?
@buildyouryogabiz
@buildyouryogabiz Год назад
Good question Stacy. Honestly, this depends on the person and level of confidence. I started hosting retreats a few years after teaching so I could build up my student base, so that is one advantage of waiting a little while so you have existing students to market/promote the retreat to. Hosting a retreat is obviously very different than teaching yoga classes and requires a lot of space holding skills. That being said, you may never feel 100% ready and doing your first retreat will be an incredible learning experience, regardless. Trust your intuition, and if you do feel the call to host retreats, I would definitely recommend starting to plant those seeds!
