I learned quite a bit from this guy…. There’s not much sales propaganda anymore for these old products; he convinced me to buy one after I saw a little about the software.
Thanks for the video it definitely helps with some questions I had. Just one question is it recommend to change regulator diaphram with this setup? I will be doing this to a 1986 4.3 TBI. Great video👍👍👍
aftermarket.tiautomotive.com/direct-fit-applications/ I just did another 5.7TBI K5 as well as the 4.3 TBI S10. Daily driven no issues. Please replace that old corroded ground braid from the basket to the frame with new 12awg wire. All electrical connections should be clean and bright. Your fuel gauge will be more accurate and your pump will get more power. Use the nice butt connectors with the adhesive heat shrink.
aprofessionalamateur, Thank you so much for the reply! I will defiantly apply this knowledge to the repair job, awesome to know you did one on the K5, thanks again friend.

Question I have a used one and want to test or ensure it powers b 4 I wire it up. I just need to connect the two wires to battery and the switched positive correct
Does that status led stay on,because your simulating a running engine. I've hooked my 6AL-2 non programmable up a 12V source and it flashes one time on goes out.
