I gotta disagree with finding a way to cut crowd involvement. Firstly they paid their cash. But it’s better for the story. These bloated shows have plenty of ways to cut time. In tangent. Crowds chanting you f’f up is not cool. Heard the same cant yesterday watching the LLWS. Are they related? Very unlikely. But the WWE does condone it.
“Finn is the leader of the new judgement day” even though the judgement day doesn’t have a leader and isn’t supposed too have a leader or leaders which is exactly why they turned in Damien and Rhea if you paid attention because they told you that and if you paid attention too the styling both Finn and Dominik both had blowouts with Damien over it
I think we made the connection that Finn was the leader based on how the video was set up and how Finn was placed in the center of the shot with others around him, don’t think that was an accident. Having said that, they have repeatedly said there are no leaders, but they said that before, so it just seems like they’ll go back around with leaders popping up. Hogan nwo is first, it was perfection. Savage turning on hogan, i know we all saw it coming but the story telling has never been done better. Windham turning on luger was awesome, smiling at the camera as he put up the 4 fingers. Gordy slamming the cage door on kerry von erich, it ignited the von erich freebird legendary fued. My 4, for whomever cares.

It’s not that they dropped the ball I think HHH is just dragging this out until we get closer to Bash at Berlin. I expect a better explanation from Dom and a reveal of how all this came to be.

Yeah, I definitely think partial blame can be placed there. But at the same time, there’s more freedom in WWE now with those. Plus, we’ve seen Rhea deliver better promos and she just didn’t deliver well. All that to say, the point was that we haven’t gotten a good “why” from the story and that’s frustrating.
They needed Dom to be colder not child like, also the story of Rhea didn’t treat him good isn’t true at all so what they’re doing made no sense. He had to say some mean stuff like I was bored of you or something like that
I have 2 other underrated heel turns. Survivor series 98 Vince was pushing mankind. Rock was a babyface at the time and they hit us with a great swerve by screwing mankind and turning rock into the corporate champ Another one people forget is taker making JR kiss vince’s ass on raw. Nobody expected the taker to do that.

From what I remember they didn’t have a bad match. Summer slam 02, elimination chamber, 3 stages of hell, last man standing, wm 20, the last raw of 03 and the hell in a cell. Just great chemistry, story and matches came from that heel turn
Yes, that feud was absolutely incredible, and so glad you mentioned the Raw match, so many forget that! The HHH/HBK match was something you could always go back to, even if both guys were working with other people, the chemistry was just always there!

Definitely the Barry Windham turn. He fought Tully and Arn with passion throughout the whole match and never gave us as much as a glimpse of his frustration with Lugar. When he pulled the trigger, it was jaw dropping. Then he went on to win the US title and the Horsemen had their greatest run ever. It was perfect

I think one that gets overlooked was when Ole Anderson (yeah, THAT Ole Anderson) turned face for a few matches, then turned on Dusty in the cage vs. The Assassins got a LOT of heat. THere's a YT video out there titled: GCW July 26, 1980 (Ole Anderson Heel Turn on Dusty Rhodes In Full). Go check that clip out and just listen to the crowd reactions; especially when they chant "We dont wanna hear it" at Ole in the studio.

Hogan joining the NWO, Andre turning, The double turn with Austin and Hart because that's where Austin really took off. And then the biggest one of all time, Vince Mcmahon turning into Mr Mcmahon after the montreal screwjob. Those are the 4 biggest money making, game changers, I can think of.

I think Cody went into business for himself with the backing of HHH in the shadows. A clear evidence is HHH booking Cody Rumble win despite Rock Roman beint locked in Rock has a track record of doing business,hes probably the weakest booked top guy ever. In the end the fans decided Cody and Rock plays ball. I think fans dont mind politics and backstabbing as long as their favourites benefit case in point cody cena hhh.....
