A true visionary, Angèle Lancel founded the first accessories and luxury leather goods maison in Paris, in 1876. The maison also continued to make its mark generations of bags that combined intelligent design with the fashions of the day and exceptional fine leather craftsmanship. Each collection is a further triumph of the creative and daring spirit cultivated by Lancel to celebrate femininity and capture the essence of effortless French chic promoted by the maison since 1876.
It would be worth it for Lancel to revive its house classics that it once became famous for, and to invest in a reputable social media campaign that actually attracts some viewers

I bought a number of beautiful and stylish lancel bags back between 2008 -2012 including the premier flirt in red croco leather and an Adjani bag. Unfortunately they now sit in my closet unused. I was searching for those bags which in my opinion were classics of the Lancel House and now they are no where to be found. It is a shame that a reputable house such as lancel does not honor its classic pieces and now they are forgotten. The house seems to be very moody about its advertising campaign business and doesn’t stand behind its heritage and craftsmanship, to the point that I regret those purchases. I think this sends a strong message to those considering g a lancel bag to opt for a house that stands behind its classics such as Dior, CHANEL or LV. I hope lancel changes its strategy for the future
