Cannot get any of that extra equipment in an arena show. I am also moving my camera(point and shoot not phone) around a lot because i am avoiding people in front of me. If you know if any equipment i can get past metal detectors or when they search my camera bag, please let me know because i need a good very compact stabilizer. I am also standing the whole time so that belly bag would not work, unless it helps stabilize while i am standing? is it something i can wear while i walk in? let me know because i have been wanting to get a device that helps stabilize my camera better.
@@NicksLiveEvents first, try a camera strap around your neck. when you shoot push the camera away from your body so that the strap is tight. this gives you a lot of stabilisation. I always brought in a monopod (I put it in my jeans), this is mostly plastic, never had any problems at the US shows with metal detectors. the ballhead for the monopod I have in my pocket, when they scan me and it beeps I show them some loose change. it is all about confidence. I filmed Newark 2014 with my biggest camera and monopod, no issues. took 1000 pictures with my pro cam at the MSG show 2014. Confidence!
Thank you for posting these videos. I went to this show with my ex, it was a toxic relationship and he caused the one chance i had to meet Dave. I lost the videos i recorded during the show. This was the best 4-20 I ever had, I work in the cannabis too! Thank you for capturing a magical night, even tho my time to meet dave was robbed.
Glad i could help! sorry about not being able to meet Dave. I almost did that day as well. I went to burke lakefront and waited. HIs SUV drove right past us and would not stop.
When I was in high school back in 86 I got a job at one of our local golf courses for the summer and met a really cool dude who was a few years older than me but we really hit it off and he had three bands that he absolutely loved and they were first and foremost U2 then REM and the Alarm. I was already a big fan of the first two but he bought me spirit of 76 and I probably would have never heard of them but he made sure I did and we had some great times over four seasons working together and having a good time with our music of the day. Thank you Rick you were a great friend to me at a time in my life when I really needed it and I will always remember your kindness and the good times you shared with me and my girl and what good times they were yippee ki a mother f you know the rest
