I keep coming back to this every few months, and I am so glad it was recommended to me. Your art along with Beached resonated with me in a way that's hard for me to explain. It hits Morrowind's mood and story on the head, and Beached connects with me emotionally. I know that I will continue revisiting this video and Morrowind. Also, thank you for introducing me to Beached. It has become one of my favorite songs!
I miss it all so badly, I'm two years late to everything I adore, every fandom I join I'm approximately 2 years late for I feel like I'm unironically legitimately cursed. I love you so much, come home, please.

would've been cool if it ended with an oblivion gate or something on the last "doomsday clock" lyric, but this was awesome regardless! love the use of color (and lack thereof), and the way you tell a story with the repeating lyrics
I always come back here after some time to rewatch the animatic with this song. For the first time I wasn't even sure if the song wasn't made for the TES 3 specifically. The way you combined it with your drawings to capture the spirit of Morrowind and it's story from start to finish is simply genious. I've seen some animatics, but this one is on another level! 🤩
3 years later discovered this! Any specific lore for this nerevarine? I'm intrigued by the shot of them breaking down in front of Dagoth Ur but honestly anyone could do that after All That Shit!
omg, i'm so flattered that you even asked... Iggy is a pretty straightforward nerevarine in that he IS Nerevar. he starts off with no memory of his past life, but he slowly regains his memory and sense of self as he fulfills more of his role and duties as nerevarine. he has a lot of very complex and ugly emotions about his old friends, but specifically Almalexia and Voryn. what's worse is that it was already complicated with them in the first era; now it's even more so. he knows what he has to do in this new body, but he's only just remembering his old life, and suddenly has to take that away from himself again. messy messy!!! ^_^
ty for your deep dive answer love u!! I checked out your linked tumblr too love him and his volcano motifs. "and iiiiiii holy shit cant believe you did this to me" indeed! I will be manifesting him a chocolate milk ♥️
Coming back after a few months, I can honestly say i missed watching this. It's such a good animatic that captures my interpretation of Morrowind personally, and the vibe on some of these images are just perfect. It's such a great pick for a song too, whenever i hear it, i think of this animatic, they're one-in-the-same for me now. Gives me chills to see Voryn and Indoril then jump to the Nerevarine break down in front Dagoth Ur.
Fantastic work! I have not played Morrowind in a long time but this masterpiece brings a lot of good emotional memories. It is unbelievable how much Morrowind keeps inspiring such dedication in the community.
I absolutely love the way you depict your characters, it's funny that even with the Morrowind graphicss they got the idea of the characters across so well we pretty much all get the same image of what things would look in our heads. Almalexia legitimately looks like this in my head to me, same thing with vivec, whenever I see them in game it about cracks me up that they look so outlandish.
It always fucked me up that we pretty much do exactly what Dagoth wants but without him or his houses involvement. Destroy the false gods and their worship, nationalise Morrowind, change the faith of the Dunmer people. It's not exact, but even after his death we do things he would take immense satisfaction in. We witness the tribunal betray each other, we kill almalexia, vivec disappears.
WHAT This is so good. I'm surprised I haven't seen it before. I wish Morrowind had some video format dreams, and us as the Nerevarine gaining Saint Nerevar's memories. Thank you for this.
Love how you matched the lyrics with the frames. A couple I really like: 'They were wrong' corresponding to the tribunal f'ing up under red mountain, followed by 'they were right' in saying how dagoth ur needs to be stopped now. Also the reoccurring 'you are immune' referring to all the criticism the nereverine overcomes in the game but also could refer to his "immunity" to corpus.
This is FANTASTIC!!! Brilliant, on point, catchy as hell, full of feelings and just so, so good!!! 🤩🤩🤩 Honestly, excellent work. Love how well the lyrics fit. And love your Voryn, his change and Nerevar's heartbreak. Magnificent!!!
Had to pause the video at "orange narcissist" I was laughing so hard. Amazing song choice, amazing art, fantastic story! You totally deserve more attention for this, I hope it blows up big!
It's already gotten WAY more love and attention than I ever thought it would! For Skyrim's 10th birthday I drew an animatic of my Dragonborn and linked that in my pinned comment; that's the one I wish could get more love, but unfortunately the audio copyright prevents me from putting it here on YT. All the comments I get on this really make me wanna work on a third video!
