My passanger side front door cant be openned from outside. I can open it from the inside and I can hear the central locking mechanism working. Do you think the whole actuator needs replacing or there is an issue with the cable? I'm thinking of having a go on own this weekend.
When replacing the A3 8P plastic four spoke steering wheel + airbag for a 3 spoke leather steering wheel + new airbag, do I get a fault code or should it work straight away?

Anyone know if I’ll be able to push a dent out my door if I remove the door card and push the bulk of it out? Just as a temporary fix so it’s less of an eye sore till I get it professionally repaired
i just did it today. there are 3 sockets: two bayonets, one wedge. There is a single filament bayonet bulb, a small wedge bulb. The second bayonet socket is empty. No way to install a bulb in it, there is no space, and no matter what, it never turns the light, never produce voltage. the small wedge bulb is the marker light. the single-filament bulb appears to do everything. marker, turn and stop. This is european car, and the turn signal should be yellow. But on this car the stop and turn is the same bulb and is RED, USA standard. Can someone explain what is the third socket doing, please. I tried. Installed a light bulb, measured voltage, nothing happened. The yellow lenses appear like there is no bulb behind them.
Wifes got a Mk1 Individual Eos and loves it but they are notorious for having issues with the roof and front drain holes getting blocked so water leaking in to car. Think VW dropped the EOS because of sales against the amount of warranty repairs they had to do. The roof was just too complicate and over engineered but still pretty impressive when it works.
Finally a channel that has a comprehensive playlist for each particular model . The Tiguan mk2 videos have been a great help! I now have a 2023 TIGUAN R hopefully you will have some videos on the facelifted tiguan soon
Passenger side no longer works, drivers side is slow. Is it usually just the regulator that fails or is it possible that the motor can be bad too? Thanks
